My grandmother was Ruth Robertson, who lived in Portsmouth. My mom was Eunice Marie Robertson. I heard stories of Jefferson Duncan and his wife riding a wagon into Portsmouth, great grandma sporting a clay pipe. I'd love to get into contact with some of my relatives. Mom passed away in 2009.

Are you a chaste and worthy man? Young and pure? Otherwise, you will taint her, and they will not accept that. You have to look at why an Amish or Mennonite woman should want to marry you when she has men of her own community as great options?

My Grandfather John Henry Conley, Gr Grandfather Lorenzo Dow Conley, Gr Gr Grandfather Carter, , 3rdGr grandfather Joseph and 4th Gr grandfather Captain Henry B Conley all came from Greenup County and Magoffin County

Our Anabaptist ancestors met in caves sometimes in Switzerland because they were hunted down and persecuted for their faith. I wonder if they chose the cave location for that reason.

My father passed away before this video. He would have loved it. Ruth was the kindest woman that ever lived. She was so proud when we would visit and we would go to her church. Very special family. Nothing but love for one another

My mom was born in that cabin. I slept there while my Aunt Mary and Sally lived there. Ethel lived in the Big House. Most of them are buried in the Kehoe Cemetery. I attended the church and played piano for them after Ethel got too old and sick to do so. My mom and brother are buried there. I hated Doug Selling it .

Thank You! I came across this randomly, Robert Duncan happened to be my grandfather. My father Ron was the man dressed in the Ohio St jacket. You can't imagine what finding this means to me. Thank you again.

@@DD-Hawklife Lawson died in 1977 when I was 15. We used to go to his house about every weekend. I went to see Robert at his house long ago. I also met Sally and talked with Charlie at his house several times. I never met Ruth.

Some of my Carvers are from Greenup County and Portsmouth. I have 3rd and 4th Gr-Grandparents from Greenup. Daniel Layton Clifton and wife Elizabeth Howe lived there. Matthew Scott Warnock and his dad James are also 3rd and 4th Gr-Gparents. Daniel, James, and Matthew all owned slaves and my DNA tests say I'm 97% European and 3% African, but I haven't determined where it actually came from. Elizabeth Howe was James wife.

nice..love my tejon...havent used my at pro since i bought it...i found it practically brand new, not a scratch and i got a 5.75 concentric coil along with stock coil for $75.00 bucks!!! score!
