Where's the fire? Tempo is much too fast. Also an odd choice for this group and for a National ACDA convention. This is a show choir/jazz choir piece. Otherwise it comes off as "stuffy" complete with the British boychoir sound on "you," challenging your authenticity of the performance of the piece. We are announcing the You Tube premiere on Thursday of the 35th annual holiday concert of the Roanoke Valley Children's Choir, edited version of highlights from the concert, presented live at the Salem Football Stadium on November 30, 2021. The title of the choral concert is "A Nutcracker Holiday Spectacular."
