Thanks for posting this for us that didn't make the meeting. Sounds like we parents need to get our kids focused on Naviance and practicing for the ACT and connecting with the colleges they are interested in attending.

how can the function be continuous if the limit does not exist at 0

A function is considered to be continuous if it is continuous on its domain. 0 is not in the domain so the function is a continuous function that has a discontinuity.
