I saw them a number of times at Popular Creek in suburban Chicago and each time was better than the last. I too noticed the number of guys on stage, 14 and people or some people complain about the price of a ticket. Imagine the cost to move the staff and equipment from the west coast. Better enjoy this wonderful group while we still can. Brian is having issues right now.

Absolutely beautiful! At 73 years of age I was there from the very beginning at a early Beach Boys concert (garage) in 1965 (Surfin' USA) with my Mom and Dad - believe it or not! Kind of a long story - but not really. The high voice was usually Brian until things began to go not so well with him Only somewhat recently Al's son Matt began joining the boys as a replacement for the missing and beautiful high voice of Brian. This worked out better than anybody could realize with Brian stating just a couple of years ago that Matt actually sounded better than he did - and I, honestly, just have to agree. They will live forever in my mind and heart - as will dozens of the greatest bands the planet ever had / ever will have experienced during the culturally/musically amazing 1960's. Best to all, Terry

@@cathywhite9415 Ms White, It's actually quite unfortunate but I detect more than a little snideness (yes, it's a word - look it up!) in your query. The answer to your questionably sincere, although obviously skeptical, inquiry is yes. I communicate at least 3-4 times per year with two of the original Beach Boys (not staff, Roadies or otherwise) and have done so for many years. Carry on, Terry

@MAGNETO I wish I could have seen all the original lineup of The Beach Boys including Carl & Dennis, they both were talented & gave alot to the band. Very unfortunate we lost them both so tragically. 😔 RIP Carl & Dennis Wilson 😢 🙏🕊🕯

Was that David who said "sing with us"? It sound eerily like a latter-day Dennis.

I think David sang lead on "Why Do Fools Fall in Live". Not sure, but I am really thinking it was him, not Al or someone from Brian's band.

@@swingersonian I think Jeff Foskett, standing behind David, sings lead on WDFFIL - see 4.25 on. He commonly did the falsetto leads when in Brian's band.

It was a great show, but I don't think it will make it onto the live cd that was said to be recorded due to that high pitch whine that was heard for most of the show....that was very disappointing. But the show was anything but - an awesome spectacle of a great Canadian band. Glad I was there! Such a shame more aussies don't know about other fantastic Canadian acts, like Rush, Honeymoon Suite, Colin James, Tom Cochrane and Red Rider...the list goes on and on.
