Were you guys able to keep the rear bumper reinforcement/crash bar with the asm bumper on? I've heard you had to take it off to make it fit

My rare 1999.5 1.8TQM AEB 058 in Cactus Green Mica (1 of 44) was just in an accident. I’ve replaced and upgraded almost everything on the car but insurance is only offering $1,800. Any advice or help would be appreciated. I don’t want my car totaled because insurance doesn’t value the car.

Beautiful job. I have a Nagaro S4, and I would never dream of doing something like this to it. They are just getting too rare and I think they need to be preserved in their stock form, at least as far as the body goes anyway. But that said, this turned out great! You guys to top notch work.

I understand what the previous poster is getting at re using white instead of black silicone, but unless you could buy a gap sealer in exactly the same shade as the paint used, it would look disgusting. I'm sure that the black lines resemble Porsche original equipment panel gaskets which are obviously not available for after market body kits . I would like to add that it might not have looked so bad if they had made the masking tape line gaps a lot smaller and possibly straight rather than wobbly, also without the blobs in the corners. I'm not a big fan of over-widened Porsche 911s. (They handle terribly everywhere other than on a perfectly smooth, bump free surface!) But I tip my hat to Nakai San's masticing skills. At least he makes the cars look professionally finished. These guys have given it the look of a badly installed, cheap bathroom!
