Music is the language which unites people. Who would have thought that after a fierce war between Japan and America, decades later Japanese musicians would be playing America's Bluegrass music with the verb, talent, and accent of any of our Appalachian bands. Bravo !!

The Japanese-Apalachia accent is somehow very suited to bluegrass. I LOVE THIS! I must hear more.

❤I was waiting for the precious nugget of gold that Papa Rolland always gives, and it came, as always, unexpected: 'all of our problems, every single one of our problems, is a romantic problem...that's controversial ' 'God is the most romantic person in the universe. All of our problems are because we're hurting romantically'. ❤❤❤

My mom died when she was giving birth to my sister at home it was a dry birth and the lady who was there was scared to death cause she couldn't handle what was happening. My mom said she watched as the ceiling open and she heard angels singing. She said it was beautiful all of a sudden she was back and my sis was born and the doctor showed up and all went well. My mom is in heaven now. I miss her but know I'll see her and all my family in heaven one day soon. Jesus is coming back soon - be ready! God bless you all, and love to all.

Loved it ! Especially the Mandolin My Daddy played and it was reminiscent of him. All of you were great but i don't get to hear many mandolins much anymore. Especially that sound like Dad..

I think they were really good. I don’t think one can really criticize the instrumental playing or the fact that these people speak Japanese as their Mother Tongue. Overall, a job well done in my opinion. 👍👍🇨🇦

Wonderful! Thanks for posting it. It demonstrates, amazingly, the total arbitrariness of genetic and cultural identity. Japanese can be as American as any American, and presumably any American can be as Japanese as any Japanese, etc. =)
