one comment, you used ML's for the chemistry, CONGRATS, we can understand you!, as most people resort to ratios (1+9,etc) which is rather confusing, esp. for us that aren't good at maths, I so wish manufacturers would dispense with this, and just give us a table, for values, 100ml, 200,500, 1L and the ml's of each part for ease of use; Ilford has taken this concept further, in my opinion, by introducing the "simplicity" developing kits, a kids yoghurt container with pre-mix, all you need, just pour and stir, easy, it's designed for kids!!

some tips if this MF, or Hasselblads where your first time: with this size (6x6) ALL lenses are telephoto (from 35mm format equivalents), so if unsure, Use a tripod; Mirror-up is a good idea for shots 1/15th of a second and slower { it's BIG, so has a correspondingly huge affect on motion blur}; For 1/4 sec. and below, you MUST hold the shutter until it shuts, by a noticeable click [ there is a protection baffle which shuts to save the film while changing these leaf shuttered cameras], at those speeds with orange outlines (1/4-B) this system beats the shutter leaves, so if you let go, it cuts the exposure short; Glare is a Major issue, so use a professional lens compendium, or the supplied hood, and take a digital slr/mirrorless with you (the ] in the histogram area means a highlight has gone into the "glare zone", so if it goes white, WATCH OUT, consider 2/3 stop changes to bring these highlights under control); for most of the above reasons, for a first film DONT use 400 asa film in good light, aka EV 15+, instead go for Kodak Ektar 100, Gold 200 or similar, Less 'volatile ' films to glare, also this lets the shutter get to 1/125 sec. for ease of shooting motion free, and also allows f8-f16 for increased dof, so less chance of missing focus; overall a setup for success, no matter what the light throws at you.

Please make a show about the Revox machine. And, what was them music, while you mixed the developer?

What is the rotation speed? Is the speed adjustable? Does it reverse directions during rotation? How often? Does it have a timer built in? This video would be a lot more useful if it provided information about these things.

Great system and very durable ideal for when backpacking and you want to develop it while traveling backsaw nowadays tighter airports and X-ray machines that can harm your film.

Nice video, but I think the great advantage of this system is that you can mix and develop some 35mm+some 120 and 4x5 film in the same tank! ;)

I am using the Multitank 5 for some years now. It works perfectly and I am very satiesfied. It is optimal for processing bigger amounts of film.

I am using the JOBO CPE-3 processor since its introduction to the market: I am very satiesfied and can highly recommed it! I am using it mostly for E6 processing, but also for C41 and BW reversal processing. The CPE-3 makes processing extremely precise and reliable, and also very easy. It is a joy to use. One of the best tools in my lab!

Hello, You are not applying what is on chapter 10 of the manual, You have to Push in the pressure-compensationg membrane before applying it to the tank. :-)

I bought a CPE3 after deciding a new machine would be better than and ancient second hand one that people want too much money for and they’re likely to break down. At first I was worried about the cost, but I haven’t regretted buying it for a minute. I thought I would only use it for reversal film, but I use it for everything now. I do a lot of black and white reversal and I even develop my black and white negatives with the Jobo without bothering to put water in it. If you’re wondering if you should get one or not, wonder no more. They’re well worth it.

I am using this 1540 Multi Tank (and the Multitank 5) regularly when I have higher amounts of film to develop, which is often the case. It works extremely well, both in inversion technique by hand, and especially in rotation in combination with my JOBO CPE-3 film processor.

I am using this 1520 type tank for more than 35 years now. Definitely one of the best photographic tools I have ever used. Highly recommended.

I am regularly using this small tank type 1510 for my BW film and developer tests (sensitometric tests). It is perfect for that. I am using it also in my film developing workshops for education of the participants / beginners in BW film developing. It is also perfect for that.

This tank module is really excellent. It makes the JOBO 1500 tank system the most flexible and versatile film developing tank system on the market.

My most used tank. Super economical to do two rolls of 35mm or two rolls of 120 at a time. Only 120mL per film when rotating! And I use D76 1:1 so it’s a tiny amount of chemistry with perfect results. It also adds onto other tanks for when you need to do more rolls at once.
@glenmoralee33 жыл бұрын
These are brilliant for one roll (which I do often when testing reversal recipes) or for adding onto a bigger tank to fit more films. All round great.
