Yes, at some capacity. Pen Boutique and GoldSpot list it as Collectors Edition. Atlas Stationers lists it as a Special Edition. Goulet Pens lists it as “limited production.” 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes, I need to share my other mystery box finds. They are well worth the cost if you receive a pen to your liking. This one is writing so well, but the color hasn’t captured my heart yet. It’s very nice in the hand. Similar to Esterbrook Estie. The mystery boxes only come out three to four times a year. You’ll have to watch for them.

Well, I’ve since discovered that they are not refillable. It would be perfect to be able to remove the wick and refill with other inks. The only benefit would be if you had a bottled ink that you absolutely loved and would like to use. I happened to have the Firefly ink on hand that I used in a LAMY demonstrator pen. It wasn’t a special purchase. I don’t plan on purchasing more. Tom’s Studio does have some refillable soft tip pens similar to this idea. I haven’t tried them yet though. Thanks for watching!

Yes, I know Pelikan nibs are wet writers, but oh so smooth. It is not as fine as the steel nibs, but I expected it . I purposely ordered F instead of M or B which I love on the m400s. I’ll share a nib comparison soon. Thank you for the conversation! ☺️

Enjoy your Kawecos and your journaling! I’m curious, do you have all the same nib size or a variety? The nibs are quite easy to exchange and they are tiny enough to be cute! Most of my washi tape is foiled because I like the glitter and shimmer, but I often forget to use it. I purchased through monthly subscriptions, Hobby Lobby, etc. I’ve never tried the washi tape shop. Thanks for being here and joining the conversation.

@@MarcellHobbs I have different nib sizes. I am sooo new to Fountain Pens (started in October 2024), I am not comfortable yet with switching out nibs yet. I was a big gel pen and bullet journaling. In Oct of 2024, I decided to go strictly mostly hobonichi planners so I researched pens and fountain pens sparked my interest....I opened a can of worms LOL Thank you for your video. I am Really Enjoying the fountain pen community and learning loads! ❤

Yes, I am pleased with the striations of the black lines. I was hoping they would perform as an ink window like the brown and white tortoiseshell pens. It’s amazing how we purchase the same pens, but have noticeable differences.

I know! I delayed ordering the Brilliant Brown, but saw a swatch. After I perceived the Pelikan M600 Artist Edition pen, I knew which ink I wanted. The Brilliant Brown is reddish orange, true to the swatch. The brilliant black is also a lavender grey. 🤷🏼‍♀️ So much for understanding brilliancy.
