Seriously, I was just searching for this on Amazon for my dad, assuming they must have them. My dad is a Corvette fanatic who just had another major back surgery, and his first question to the doctors going in was "will I be able to get in and out of my Vette." I want him to be able to fully appreciate his cars and, for him, that means getting under them, too. Please send me a Kickstarter or something. I'm the immortal words of Philip J Fry, "shut up and take my money!"
Oooh lord this tutorial was beyond draining . My personal battery level was drained with the scattered information. Other then that no complaints hahahaha

Do you expect an elderly person to do all this? Maybe people that are crippled, maybe someone like me, full of arthritis, who has low income that can't hire anyone to do this. People on you tube make me sick thinking people that are disabled can do this.

I hate to make negative comments about people trying to be helpful but this presentation contains some serious errors and miss information. Clay's first drawing of a series circuit if it is hooked up will lead to an instant smoke and fire melt down. Clay, please get some more electrical training and more important, understanding before you try to teach it to others. Thanks for your efforts.

Your diagram of series linked batteries is the best way of starting a serious fire 🔥 they are linked positive to negative but not both terminals on two batteries. You have created a short circuit. Series -[]+ -[]+ -[]+ etc always leave two terminals not connected to another battery.

Yawn ! he may have knowledge but he is not a teacher,the two types of people are very different,so many conflicting pieces of advice on battery charging and the last thing you want is to run out of battery power on a scooter,the most boring talk that I have seen on You tube.

Can you use higher amp batteries for longer copacity I have a merits pioneer 3 with the 35 amp batteries just wondering if I could go to the 50 amp for a little longer use in days time.
@nycwheelchairrepairs35733 жыл бұрын
Never use a different battery for your chair. It will affect the performance. Using a higher amp battery might burn out the controller which regulates the amperage as it distributes it through the chair. For maximum usage, charge the chair overnight (until the indicator on the charger turns from red to green).

I purchased a used power chair close to 4 years ago and use it daily, most days 8 - 10 miles. Still running on the batteries that were in it, don't know how old they were when I purchased the chair, but still going strong.

I just built a walker very similar to the one in this video. Just pulled it out of the box, and it's never been used. However, the left front tire doesn't touch the floor and sits sideways while I am walking. How do I rectify this problem?

I have a shoprider mobility scooter and the green light never comes on now i can charge it over 2 days and it just shows a red light and an orange light, the orange light is the one that should be green . i dont know how old the batteries are and also the rider is 27 stone would that make a differance to the batteries.as it seems to ned chargeing alot even though we dont go too far when we do go out. Hi Jennifer, I want to thank you for this brilliant video. I've recently retired after working for 47 years as an instructor for Guide Dogs in the UK with the last 12 years raising public awareness of Guide Dogs and the larger issues of sight loss training and demonstrating our National Demonstration Dog. So when I came upon your video I watched it with interest as you clearly and fully discussed and demonstrated both the dangers in the environment and more importantly the ways you can use it along with your O & M skills to safely navigate your environment. I also liked the way you presented and demonstrated in a way that anyone with or without experience could better understand the whole topic. I'm sure that you constantly get comments like this but I wanted to add to those comments by saying a sincere thank you and "good on you". Yours Andy Guiel

Full trust in my cane was at night about four years ago with the attending of a Bernie Sanders event it was at a park where I live. I had never been there before and the time of night was dusk . My eye is sensative to glare. I went to where I saw the people were gathering, and signs. My functioning vision is blurry. i had my cane and had to keep up with the crowd. I found out later it was 1300 people. The ground was uneven grass and the crowd was moderately fast . no one took my arm I kept up with everyone. I got to the ampitheater and sat down heard the speech and then it was completely dark . I had to rely on the sounds of the crowd and the feel of my cane going across the hilly grass. Finally finding bathrooms and then bus stops.A kind soul offered to help me find the bus stop going the right direction home. Happy holidays.
