Although not seen in this video, donkeys have amazing skills. I saw another video where a donkey can take tourists on a mountain hike in France for 3 hours by himself ! (no human guide). Donkeys are very good at avoiding danger and finding the safest routes. And in case of an injured tourist the donkey will not abandon them as they have a strong herd instinct, They can shepherd sheeps. Of course that donkey was trained by his owner who is a guide but the training was merely to walk the trail a few times as Monkey have amazing trail memory they know exactly where they went and will not get lost ! They are used for bringing food to high altitude shepherds again by themselves and they come back down alone as well ! Also they are not intimidated by big mountain dogs, even a loaded monkey. Monkey never panic, when there is a threat instead they get calmer, the more threat and the more calm they become. They have a nasty bite and no dog has any chance to hurt them as the monkey can lower it's head thanks to its strong neck and the most vicious dog will be chased and bitten it will flee ! Amazing donkeys.

The must have been very heartbreaking for the previous owner to do. They obviously took care of him with vet care and treating his cancer. They were also concerned for his emotional well being when his companion died. I wish everyone could be that loving and that strong to do what is best for others and not let pride get in the way of asking for help and doing the right thing. God Bless them all❤❤❤

I rescued two donkeys 10 years ago, they are my big, big babies. (2 sheep as well 💕💕💕💕)

While i sincerely appreciate animals being rescued, there is still so often a vibe that the animal remains an entertainment to and for the humans.

God bless you all for giving him a home with other donkeys. He is so beautiful. Can I ask, what are you training him for? Just curious. live happily ever after sweet one. Much love
