Good stuff! Hit me up if you're ever looking for someone to fly 4 way. I'm comfortable with all the slots and I know the dive pool. With all the belly flyers Detroit should be part of the ICL.

Is this real? He's clearly hypoxic. Force his O2 mask on him and check that the valve is open! You can't skydive drunk. That pilot-in-command and jump master need to have their licenses reviewed. Declare an emergency and descend to 11,000 MSL. Auto deploy reserve chutes won't open until 5,000 MSL. WTF!?

Jesus!! Tell the pilot to abort the jump and get back down as soon as possible while everyone turns their AAD off. Don’t just push him out of the plane😡 he could remain unconscious or even have a seizure. Wow…. Not cool at all they could have just put his mask on instead of watching a person suffer. Insane!

Hypoxia occurs over 10,000ft. also the temp drops 2 degrees every 1000 ft. Jumping from 21,000ft without air is asking for trouble.

tricky.maybe good if you could use the 78mph version but switch it off somehow..what if you got a rotating malfunction you couldnt cut away .i think i could possibly freefall slower than 100mph .but then it might drain the battery if you were an instructor or someone doing 15 jumps in a day and switching on and off

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I believe at terminal velocity the canopy would have inflated before? Because from the video it seems it was barely starting to inflate almost at the ground at around 50 feet
@BlueSkyRyan Жыл бұрын
I am not sure. Higher wind speed would open it faster but it would also be less time to the ground.
@MrMattie72516 күн бұрын
If your main failed, you would be at (almost) terminal velocity at the height limit of the Cypres. Thus you'll have enough time for a decent opening. Here he was way past the height limit of the Cypres before he checked the 'too fast' box to activate the Cypres because he did his swoop.
