Hi running your hedge cutter on 1000 , just be mindful that it’s only designed to run maximum of 540 , and most operators would run it at 460-480 , believe me at that rpm that’s quick You must get neck ache we the hedge cutter sat so far back on the tractor
@cutcrewltd5 күн бұрын
Thanks mate; we run it at 500 but PTO set too 1000 half’s the revs! seem to get less rev spikes aswell

Surely it's not beneficial to put such a big tractor and tyre treads on football pitch. Unfortunately would sink on our clay based pitch

No issues thus far, the verti drain covering the wheels helps massively and also the fastrac although being 8 tonne is incredibly only 30 psi on ground pressure! It’s quite remarkable. Our old Massey mf5455 on turf tyres left more of a mark!

Playing catch up with your channel. I’m well versed in grass maintenance so it’s sucking eggs but I found you have a simple and easy way of presenting the topics in the video’s that I found I interesting that just I carried away and watch until the ends. Though not used ‘aftercut’ should it not to be used on a new laid or seeded lawns until 6 months later 👍

Love the having the videos back just 2 things with your hedge cutter run it in 1000pto on the tractor so it's not raving as much and save fuel and fold the hedge cutter round before going on the road will ride a lot better also don't rev it up to speed first thing in the morning as it could destroy the pump and gear box
@cutcrewltdАй бұрын
Thanks mate, I always fold it up before heading back out on the road; I’ll give the 1000rpm a go! Thanks mate

The petrol engine is designed to run on fossil fuel, it won't run properly on anything else. Man is messing around with fossil fuel and plant life by mixing them together. E10 is real nasty bad stuff, and should be banned.

Great video! We have similarities in our thinking. I'm over 19 years into a small garden maintenance job with a team of three in South West England. I have my 1st ride on mower quote to do ( my choice - did not want to get into huge areas at the start) So I'm looking for any tips or advice on how to quote with a rider on. Have done 1000s of small to large propelled mower machine jobs and wondered if I should just quote that way as in quote whatever it would take with the biggest mowers, but just use the ride on instead?

People give out information on social media without understanding the reasons. CutCrew can hold their heads high. You guys do amazing work at very competitive rates. Continually investing in machinery, products and people. Your work in the community is admirable. Don’t let a few miss judged words upset you and your team.

It’s not entirely relevant to this particular situation as there’s really nothing more you could’ve done with this place, but Scott Elwood has made a good point in the past that taking on jobs where the client wants the absolute bare minimum service can generate a similar situation and he therefore tries to avoid them.

Amazing news Tom! What was the biggest change it made to the way you quote? Did you notice any flaws in previous pricing?
@tomfendall19422 ай бұрын
@@cutcrewltd When I’ve quoted previously for anything it’s just been based on other similar jobs. I’ve not taken into account holidays rainy days etc. The interesting thing is I ran a couple of jobs through after purchasing it that we had just signed up a few days before and I was actually slightly over on some jobs but way out out on the jobs further distance away. It takes all the guess work out of things now I even tell people I’m quoting i use your calculator and it actually helps the sale process because they know you are being totally genuine with the cost.
