Defaulting decision making to a partner is not doing them a favor. This is true, however, had he participated in the planning what would your reaction have been? Would you have accepted his input or would you have rejected it? Was the decision to include your parents made together or was it made unilaterally by you? Were his parents extended an invitation? Did you ever think spending a week with his in-laws might not be a vacation for him? Judging by your demeanor I suspect he thought it best to simply stay out of the way to avoid fighing with you. You complain about him bitching and moaning, but here you are on the internet unironically airing your dirty laundry for everyone to see. You trash your husband in front of extended family, which is a huge red flag, and I have no doubt you're doing it in front of the children as well. You have to pay for parking, pay for entrance to each park, you have to pay for Genie Plus per ride; per person you need yo use the phone to get into virtual queues for rides, exhibits, and for restaurants!
