Do the cab & chassis vehicles come from the vehicle manufacturers already installed with the walk-thru door between the cab and ambulance body come equipped from the vehicle manufacturers OR are cut out and built by the ambulance body builder.

I know van-based chassis cabs are offered as cutaways as well (no rear wall and window), but not sure if truck-based ones do (they probably do)

how long does the average build take from order to delivery ?

watahyahknow some manufacturers estimate in about 6 weeks its ready for delivery the service where i work at uses all wheeled coach ambulances and from manufacturing to delivery it takes us about 6 weeks for our new units to arrive
