looks nice but not quite perfect. a real diamond has strong chromatic abberation so a lot of colors show up. real physics is very messy

actually...dielectric material....caustics/GI/FG/raytracing HDR lighting etc.... all combined very well in Mental Ray

I too would be very interested to know what material was used, what the render settings were, and what lights/env was applied. How about it Mr. Nachione....care to share with the rest of the class?
