7 years later and I just finally started emulating this game on Dolphin. I had it on Wii back in the day and was always a fighting game player in my neighborhood, but didn't know about the FGC early on, so I completely missed this game lol

For the hitbox couldn’t you set the SOCD to the OG down+Up=up? Cause that’s what I did for mine it was on the manual on how to swap it from OG to new SOCD

Soki is slow and has no real mix ups, but when he touches you then You're dead. Rough but fun

It's a shame it'll never get re-released because of licensing. Capcom are also dumb for not doing a quick port over to Ps3/360, as I bet it would have found more of an audience on those consoles.

I remember when my dad got this game because he grew up watching Gatchaman, he took me to this store called Fry’s to get the gatchaman collection and they were always sold out. He was so excited to see that this game came out and preordered it! I still have the key chain figures of Ken the Eagle and Ryu!

Appreciate you all going back and uploading all of these streams. I love playing TVC but am far from advanced. Is there any good content online you'd recommend for learning the nuances of this game? For the time being, best answer is KBeast with his MarvelousCustoms' channel: www.youtube.com/@MarvelousCustoms/videos. Dr. Sc1ence also has a few things on his channel but KBeast's channel may help you more in that regard. I do agree that additions to the Supercombo wiki would be helpful but we mostly just do it in our free time. Need to ask Pops again on how to add content there. -Dawadawa
