if you stain wood a color can you use anything for the clear coat after?

It can be used, but I use a wax made from teak, flax oil and beeswax.

@@Resin_Art with people wearing them in mind are there any coats that tend to cause reaction with some people? trying to avoid anything that might react poorly with people of sensitive skin.

Вставка как я понимаю из бронзы меди латуни. Все это споавы скоро окислятся и будут темного цвета. Что предприняли пл этому поводу?

Probably just water--it's called wet sanding. Usually done with very high grit sandpaper. The buffing wheel and buffing compound makes it really shine.
