@@BoatNectar the difference is that Legacy and Vintage are actual competitive formats with decades of history and not a variant of a casual format for tryhards.

Hi Izelor, unless its related to a tournament, I usually wouldn't post any game where basically almost nothing happens, however the gameplay was more to show if the format (cEDH or otherwise) can survive/work and/or be fast without the recently banned cards. All I'm saying is that cEDH isn't a good format to watch for entertainment because all games play exactly the same way: throw a couple of mana rocks or draw, then a tutor, then combo off unless someone has interaction. The banned cards will barely affect this because they are just 1-3% of the deck (if you used all 3 of them). The worst this could mean is that the decks win 1-2 turns slower than they used to when they draw a starting hand that has the replacement of the banned cards. In every other case, the game will play exactly the same way.

Believe me when I tell you Ninja, you make a very honest and to be fair sound point. However as I mentioned, in my opinion, I think it has to do more with the Buyer's remorse as all the newly banned cards save for Nadu were quite expensive. I think if the cards had low money value like a Sol Ring from every precon which is around 5$, then the backlash would have been less fierce. But just to grab a single copy of all 3 cards would run you back a few hundred bucks and that's where it hurt. Also "Rule 0" is something I like, but in my experience its a conversation that happens less at your LGS and is more for when you play with others via spelltable. @@BTGamenight If it's really buyer's remorse, then why not discuss with the sellers and their bank about a refund like something an adult would do in that situation instead of crying on the internet about it? "Rule 0" is also a discussion many LGS are happy to have to the point of them adding house rules to their own tournaments. Even cEDH tournaments allow proxies in their tournaments so people won't have to spend a few hundred bucks on those cards. They really should spend that "few hundred" more on therapy sessions instead of expensive cardboard if they really have trouble acting like an adult as grown adults.

I know that "Emeria, the Sky Ruin" may hold value in a 4 player game if it drags on for that long, or perhaps if you have something "Myriad Landscape" & "Sun Titan" to bust out your basics faster, but I must say you are 100% right. Emeria in the early game is a brick, and "Evolving Wilds" shouldn't be in any mono colored decks, save for the ones that can benefit from sacrificing lands like "Titania, Protector of Argoth". @@BTGamenight Thanks for your response! Actually, I don't know if these decks are built solely for 1vs1 content or you are using them in multiplayer too. In 1vs1 some cards are way more busted than in a multiplayer format.
