I love PRADA . I do prefer their traditional signature black nylon and saffiano leather goods, which by the way, PRADA recently released a new sneaker with these textiles. I want to get a pair, but I have so many sneakers as is. Their bags are way too expensive for nylon.

I go to the LV Collins Street boutique looking like a lower class train wreck. Even so, I only receive first class service. And only buying SLGs and books. Never a Capucine, never a hard sided suitcase. Just cheap stuff. However, though I am badly dressed, I am polite and, I hope, respectful. That makes a difference. Also, a lot of people are so used to KMart shopping, they don’t grasp that luxury boutique run differently! You cannot wander around as if you are in Myer! It is still very much a ‘Paris in the 1930s’ shopping method. They don’t get it! Thank you for the video! I hope you do another! 👍

Why would you dry clean a bandeau before using it?

The bandeau I got was folded up so there were fold lines along it. Also it didn’t feel silky smooth. I wear it as a necktie so the fold lines were visible when I first wore it.

I still love my LV reverse monogram *jklux* clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.

Buying a luxury bag is the stupidest investment. I personally don't think it's worth spending so much money on a bag. It is better to invest in gold. Of course I also like those big-name bags. But I couldn't bear to give up the money. So all my bags are replicas of H Q D U P S.

Thank you for your comment. I never claimed that bags were an investment and I don’t expect to even get a fraction of my money back if I sell them. Also, if you watch my other LV videos you will see that part of the price tag is the in-store experience, but everyone would attribute a different value to that.

Lobe your collection. Have you looked at vintage pieces that are in good condition. The canvas is so much better and lasts much longer than the new ones.

I have shopped preloved before but not for LV. I haven’t looked too much into vintage because I prefer more colourful bags. If my budget allows to expand to the preloved market in the future then I will consider it.

Yes it is. It does have a solid interfacing that keeps the front of the body upright but it doesn’t add any weight.

Thank you for watching! When set to its longest length, the strap drop is between 18-24cm (7-9.5 inches). The variation is because the centre of the zipper can also drop down. It is still in my collection and just as beautiful as the first day I got it.

What would you recomend buying aluminum or polycarbonate I dont really know what to pick

My preference is polycarbonate because it is lighter and has less compartments than the Dior one so you can put more stuff in it, and also aluminium feels cold on cold days. But only way to be sure is to try both out in a store and take your time to decide.

As far as I’m aware that combo was a seasonal piece. The closest option currently available is the aluminium with the brown straps which I think looks very beautiful. Do check that one out if you are at a store.

Yes I still have it. So far mine looks in good condition with no curling or chipping. I don’t use it as an everyday bag so I do let it rest for a while. It would be worth a visit to your nearest store and see if it is natural wear and tear

It is a striking bag! Not discreet, but like everything else, even discretion can sometimes be too much of a good thing! I really like it. Have you considered maybe storing it on a lot of scrunched up tissue paper? That may keep it upright without putting too much pressure on the leather? Thank you for the video! Loving this bag!

How did you get the nose straight again

I have this bag on my shelf with the nose off the edge so it’s never touching the shelf. If you need to straighten it then rub leather conditioner on the entire nose and fill the trunk with tissue paper to straighten it. Avoid putting any clips on the nose because this is soft leather.

They don’t have boxes for this specific size. In fact a few bags they sell don’t come with correct box sizes. The choices are limited to whatever they have in the back room regardless of whatever new style comes in.

The mini in general can fit all the essentials and is more discrete when you wear it, but for this bag specifically the battery takes up some of the space so it fits even less. I know that some people don’t like that the strap is one length so if you buy this bag also consider getting the adjustable strap.

Happy to answer for you. Yes the strap is held on by the two studs and it is quite easy to lift and reposition. Maximum strap drop (where I use only one stud) is 59cm, and shortest strap drop is 45cm.

Why is your Rimowa top buttons not on the snap on side?

The reason for the differences is to make them unique from each other even though they are functionally the same bag

@@houseofmarksman No I meant the button with logo ( 2:45 ) of your Rimowa body bag. It is on the wrong side. It should be above the snap button. I cannot see anything like yours anywhere.

@@JeromeCo-go8on that’s a very interesting observation, I didn’t notice that it was changed on the newer bags. If you check out their website www.rimowa.com/au/en/bags/personal-crossbody-bag/cross-body-bag/89011620.html and scroll down to the Key Elements section it shows an older picture of the bag where the top buttons are positioned like my bag. I wonder why they redesigned it without mentioning it anywhere.

I found this difference as well. Is it because Rimowa improved the design (which one is new design)? Or either one is fake?
