Anyone would have difficulty learning if they were taken out of school at age 4. That's when we usually START school. Seems like there was something wrong with the mom to do this. Maybe she was selfish, and wanted to keep her daughter to her self... Weird.

The movie was very sad and touching Sarah did not give up on her self even thoe she had a disability she did trust the man but he let her down he was only interested in he wealth she was not to blame he took advantage of he just because she hearted a disability that was advantages he was so disgusting 😛😛😛😛😛😛😛

So many limited options for beautiful people like Sarah back years ago. 😢 So glad that has improved and even in our public schools, too. I have 2 friends from my HS graduating class who teach Special Needs children both at the Elementary and High School levels. They adore their students and work so hard to improve their daily lives.❤️

I get saying no to the concert, really... Parents worry. But there comes a time, espesially at 16 when parents gotta loosen the reigns just a little bit. Otherwise, like me when i was 15, 16, we used to tell our dad we were going somewhere else and then just do what we planned on in the 1st place. It was wrong but... here we are, im all good and grown. I cant being myself to lie to him now and im 59.

Very sad movie but good movie. My aunt is intellectually impaired and I love her a lot. My aunt use to live with my grandparents but when they died my uncle found a great organization for my aunt. Now she lives on her own with the help of social workers, family and home health aide. My mom goes shopping in bulk with my aunt

Great movie.

It's hard for me to watch this. My late brother was severely MR. He died due to neglect and abuse in a facility only being there 18 days. He was 28 with the mentality of a 4 year old. It's been 25 years and it's still hard.
