It was my pleasure to attend the Festival (FestPac) this year. I enjoyed the Kiribati performance at the Hawaii Convention Center. Ko rabwa! I look forward to seeing you again in New Caledonia in 2028.

Unfair representation, they should also explain our different culture, explain The traditional attire they are wearing, the costumes, the feathers, the war cry and such.

French Polynesian sounds like a colonised state or country to me. They Polynesians. The French come from Europe get real.

Get eduacted and learn history before shaming your self. French Polynesia (Tahiti and the Marquesan islands) is a thing as it’s an overseas collectivity of France and its sole overseas country. Tahiti was 1st colonized by Britain, then France. They speak French besides Te Reo Maohi in Tahiti etc. Just like Hawai’i Nei is still illegally annexed by the US speaking English, just as Aotearoa NZ and Australia are British territories and they speak English besides the indigenous languages…

The thing is ,THE ENTIRE WORLD is heavily heavily embracing Jamaican culture to the point where I’ve gone over to the Middle East and people there whom don’t even speak much English know more about Jamaica than Jamaicans. And then the ones who do know English I’ve heard them speak better patois than some Jamaican Natives. So the last worry is for Jamaicans to become wiped out when they are actually taking over the world lol. I’ve met Russian rastas. , German, polish and sweeds. I’ve met Scandinavian Rasta’s , even folks of Viking descent now speaking patois .on and on pfft…Italian rastas , Jewish Rasta’s , Asian and Hindi rastas forget about it .
