Namste, Thanks for your comment and for showing interest in the history of Hinduism. It's awesome to see people curious about this. So, when we talk about proof of Hinduism before the 1st century, it's a bit like looking at pieces of a huge puzzle. Here are a few things to consider: Ancient Texts: One of the oldest texts related to Hinduism is the Rigveda, which dates back to around 1500-1200 BCE. It’s a collection of hymns written in an ancient language called Vedic Sanskrit. And what's really cool is that these texts were passed down orally even before they were written down. Archaeological Finds: Have you heard of the Indus Valley Civilization? It dates back to about 3300-1300 BCE. Archaeologists have found seals and artifacts from that time, which suggest people were practicing some form of religion that might be connected to Hinduism. For example, there's a seal called the Pashupati seal that shows a figure surrounded by animals, which some think is an early image of Shiva. Other Ancient Writings: Besides the Rigveda, there are other ancient texts like the Upanishads, Brahmanas, and Aranyakas that were written before the 1st century BCE. These texts dive into deep philosophical ideas that are still part of Hindu thought today. Long-lasting Traditions: Hinduism has evolved over thousands of years. Many rituals and beliefs that started way back then are still practiced today, showing a continuous thread from the past to the present. Scholarly Views: Many historians and scholars agree that the roots of Hinduism go back to the early Vedic period and even earlier. They look at old texts, archaeological finds, and other evidence to piece together the story. History and religion are complex, and understanding them often means looking at a mix of written texts, physical evidence, and oral traditions. Hinduism’s history is incredibly rich and goes way back in time. I hope this helps clear things up a bit! If you have more questions or want to chat about something specific, feel free to ask. I'm here to help!

Bro sadhguru is telling this is assending dwapar yuga.
@Pavitragyaan12 күн бұрын
Thank you for your comment! I understand that Sadhguru interprets our current era as the ascending Dwapar Yuga. However, my video is based on the traditional Hindu understanding of the yugas as outlined in ancient scriptures such as the Mahabharata, the Puranas, and the Bhagavad Gita. According to these texts, we are currently in Kaliyuga, which is characterized by a decline in spiritual values and increased challenges. While I respect Sadhguru's teachings, my video aims to present the conventional viewpoint as described in these sacred texts. I believe this traditional perspective is important for understanding the context of our times. 🙏

just one correction: HINDUISM is not a mythology
@Pavitragyaan12 күн бұрын
Thank you for your comment! I appreciate your correction. You are absolutely right-Hinduism is a rich and profound spiritual tradition with deep philosophical and cultural significance. My intention was not to imply that Hinduism is merely a mythology, but rather to discuss the traditional stories and texts within it, such as the Mahabharata and Puranas, which are sometimes referred to as mythological texts. I appreciate your correction and respect the deep significance of these teachings. 🙏

Thank you for your feedback. It's important to clarify that when discussing the rich traditions of Hinduism, my intention is not to reduce its vast cultural and spiritual landscape to just 'mythology'. Rather, I aim to highlight the profound narratives found within its texts that carry deep philosophical meanings and historical significance. I understand the sensitivity around terminology and will be more mindful in future discussions to honor the depth and diversity of Hindu traditions. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
