I grew up in the bay area from 1958 to 1969. I remember all this well. It was pleasant then, unlike now. What a shame, the present leadership is to blame for the current disaster.

The video shows people looking towards the blast, which no one should ever do, as it results in immediate and permanent blindness. Regrettably, our United States of America, subscribing to the MAD ideals, now has no Civil Defense program and no shelters stocked with supplies for survival and rebuilding. Russia does have a national Civil Defense program, not only having shelters stocked with supplies for survival and rebuilding, but even employs regular mandatory drills for their citizens to be familiar with the local Civil Defense bomb shelters. Also, only last week, industries in Moscow were ordered to relocate throughout Russia's vast expanse, in preparation for those industries to continue production even after a nuclear attack. The Civil Defense preparations in Switzerland has shelters for all citizens, and Swiss citizenry are armed with military rifles, plus the shelters are stocked with survival supplies and rebuilding materials, including blueprints of all existing structures, in case they are destroyed and need to be rebuilt.

For me, one of the most interesting parts here is the leader added to the beginning of the film by the Dearborn library. Someone must have physically spliced that to the original film. BTW, this is especially interesting to me because I'm living in Dearborn. I wonder if they still have that film in their archives. Or does 01DOGG01 have possession of that copy?

Nope, I got all of these from public online sources. Cant upload them any more because YT doesn't like it and took away my YT partnership that I had since like 2007 or so.

@JimtheOtter I deleted 50 or so other videos which weren't on YT, then they gave me back my partnership. Then randomly one day took it away again. I regret deleting those.
