No. Children do not prophesy. They are not old enough to know good from bad. Young MEN see visions, not young boys. Show me where a child prophesies in the Bible? Samuel heard the Lord's voice in the Temple, but that was in the temple, an audible voice that he confused for Eli's, he wasn't prophesying. Now let's be sure that we do not confuse teaching and preaching the Gospel with prophecy. Prophecy is much greater. Perhaps you hear the gospel accurately; that doesn't give you permission or the ability to prophesy. Do you really "hear His voice ?

@@Isaiah78 That does not seem to be the case. I've been a part of stuff like this. Trial and error; just feel it out. Take a guess. No. You have to be certain, or keep your mouth shut. If you are not certain, then it's not from the Lord, and it's better left unsaid. If the Lord told them, not the youth leader, then amen. All for that. Hear it out, then test it rigorously, and hold on to the people who gave true prophesies. But the dangerous thing is just to prophesy what's in your heart, or how you're feeling, or just what you want to prophecy. That's hellishly dangerous. You do not prophesy unless you are certain it is from God. This isn't trial and error. People used to get stoned to death under the old law for that. How much more dire the punishment with the new, greater, eternal law of Christ? Additionally, why are the women not covering their heads as a sign of submission to male authority? They are literally praying and prophesying, but not with their heads covered. Paul says this is a disgrace to Christ.

No it’s not there were prophets in the Bible and they are still today. The true ones don’t tell you you’ll live your best life there are warnings about the future and sin being pointed out. All the prophets in the Bible had very hard lives were often rebuked by the church. They didn’t tell someone they see money in the future.

No it’s not. The Bible tells us that our sons and daughters will prophesy and gives us plenty of verses about prophesying.

The bible is clearly written in the last days i shall pour out my spirit and your sons and daughter shall prophesy... it's repeated twice Acts2 and in joel(can't rem the chapter)..the reason why it was said that way is because people would predict the future using another power that is not from God....
