It's absurdly attractive, probably more than it has any right to be, the way he calmly responds to the situation and takes care of the player despite the obvious risk to himself. Some of his responses to the threats are freaking hilarious, too. And gosh dang it: "Easy now, Darling. You've got this. And I've got you," makes me want to swoon.

In my playthrough, it's Lae'zel and Wyll. But Wyll just wants to talk. Her face expression is hilarious.

At the same time, he's so sweet an understanding! 😭He knows what it's like I think, because he was forced by Cazador to do things against his will and he also knows what's like to have this insatiable urge for blood (although in his case it's for drinking, not spilling it lol). Ugh, it kills me that there is no happy ending for Durge. The happiest ending for Durge is for them to resist Bhaal and get killed by him, and for Withers to offer them the chance to basically be reborn without the Dark Urge, to be good. But what about the poor companion that Durge romances? Especially Astarion! Poor dude has been through so much, and now he has to lose the love of his life, too? It just doesn't seem fair. I wish there was an ending where Durge is able to break free of their Dark Urge and live happily ever after with Astarion/whatever companion that they romance. 😭
