Loved this song since I first heard it on the radio in the 70's - and still love it just as much today. Listening to it today, I sang along, and to my surprise - I remembered every word!!! And no, I didn't look at the lyrics until I played it for a second time! 😼Thanks for the memory! 😸

This song played over and over on the radio every day when I was a kid in 1972 after it first came out, and it's still as good today. I knew of Vicki Lawrence from watching the Carol Burnett Show and was so surprised when she cut a record.

I remember this song as a kid…mid 1970s. I think it came out the same year that Secretariat won the Triple Crown…mid 70s. The song was so cool back then and it’s even cooler now. A true 1970s Classic.
