Wow. I nearly cried tbh. I'm 13, trans ftm, and I recently cake out to my parents. They did initially support me but they won't let me do any irreversible changes yet nd they think I'm too young, which it is fair. I actually first came out to my mum when I was 11, but at that time she did not support of understand me whatsoever. I watch a lot of trans short films bc they make me realise I'm not the only one like this,and trans lives do turn out ok. The last few years, well ig ever actually, have been really hard since I didn't think I'd ever come out to my parents again. 2024 I actually started to self harm bc of how suit I was feeling. I saw all my guy friends getting girl friends, which I wanted desperately. But I wasn't lesbian. I wanted I girlfriend but I wanted to be the boyfriend. Even tho now I have come out to my parents I still know she future is gonna be challenging, and I can't just act like it will be the same as a cis boys. I think this trans shorts film has been my favourite so far bc I really can, and will, relate to the struggles of tryna live a normal man's life, when I physically cant. Thank u,whoever made this bc it actually shows the struggles of an older trans guy life,not just a teen.

This guy in this remarkable video was struggling with once being a (spoiler alert) girl! You never know what they go through or deal with unless you are born like they are! Unfortunately some of them do have family that actually disown them because they desire to be the other gender!

So sad to see what he as a teenaged girl had to go thru, but very nice to see how his girlfriend has understanding for the transition to a man, and loves him for a human been he is. I hope more stories are like this in real life. I can only imagine how much different and harder for a person is to feel trapped in a a body of another gender in comparison tp just being gay or lesbian.

@CarterRay, this was me and my husbands wedding song. I’m FTM transgender, this is our song now. My husband cries every time he hears this song. Your other song Scars hits me so hard, I had my top surgery and then had to get rushed to the hospital for an emergency surgery a week later due to a hematoma the size of a grapefruit. Your music is amazing and I’ve been singing my whole entire life, you’ve inspired me to pick it back up. Not very good anymore due to my voice changing but I’m getting there. So thank you for inspiring me and so many others. You’re amazing keep doing what you’re doing.

Romanticizing gender mutilation. Instead it should have focused on the mental care these gender dimorphic people actually need. Mutilating their bodies does not make them happy either, it is a psychological issue, not a ‘born in the wrong body’ lie.

scientific literature is going to ignore your ethnocentric insecurity over "body modification", perhaps move to israel or saudi arabia if you are in a cult that dictates medical procedures and ignores empirical outcomes

I feel bad for all the kids that live in fear of getting rejected or kicked out by their families because they came out as trans or are questioning their gender identity. People like you do not speak for trans youth or anyone in the trans community.

A lot of these films are not based on reality and are propoganda and screw up children's minds telling them their something that there not. When you destroy yr body you really will have a problem. Make a movie about that.

This made my hurt in the happiest way I ever have. Nothing is easy about being Trans. But I choose to believe that there are people out there that accept despite all the hate.
@historyrepeated4239
@historyrepeated4239 Жыл бұрын
So….I’m trying to understand. Isn’t it self hate that leads a girl or boy to attempt to change (although impossible) their natural sex/gender to begin with? What really is sad is that we amplify the self hate by convincing these people that they are in the wrong body…..instead of telling them it’s okay to be more feminine, more masculine, or even homosexual. Trans ideology seems to only exist because of societies conventional norms. Convincing somebody to make artificial, often irreversible/damaging change to feel better is the opposite of empathy. It’s destructive and an abandonment of reality….all for the sake of being supportive. You’re perfect, now change, is modern society’s new shallow anthem.

@@historyrepeated4239 You have a deep misunderstanding of what of its like to be trans. Woman ≠ female, man ≠ male, however most trans people choose to got through medical transitioning but most only go through social as thats whats most accesible. Its not self hate, dysphoria is the sense that you are being treated as a gender you are not, imagine people forcing you to be something you're not, a lot of trans people are forced to pretend to be cis and that is so distressing.
@historyrepeated4239

Every man and woman has estrogen and testosterone. Some have more than others and this is 100% fine. But to conflate male or female gender/sex seems counterproductive. You cannot change your genetics. Why lie or pretend otherwise? Be as feminine or masculine as you like. If society has an issue with it, that’s their loss. However, if you are transitioning to superficially change your gender/sex, you are subscribing to the very construct you are trying to say is a spectrum.

Almost tell a person " Oh by the way im Trans and I don't get surgery ". before they reach down to your crotch area. Or oh by the way I'm Trans and I did get surgery just incase you're wondering why I have scars " I always always always tell people I'm pansexual/vegan / whatever/before I date them / kiss them / sleep with them. Just be honest. If someone rejects you then move on/ next person!
