God said, God called. God spoke word and created. He is the Word to speak creation. GOD spoke Jesus into existence. Therefore, the word was with God. The reason why Jesus calls on his father in prayer and Jesus asks us to pray that the name of his father be sanctified. God gave Jesus all power and authority. It's an interesting conversation. A beautiful conversation to accept Yhwh the almighty and Jesus his son.

You know when a church is truly filled with the spirit when it manages to bring ALL races and ethnicities together.

What about the dangers of racism and the ungodly system of white supremacy and it's using idolatrous images of the so-called Lord Jesus Christ that permeate Christianity?

It's odd to see the same personalities we read about in the Bible still present today. The sadducees and pharisees did this EXACT same "work" in Biblical times. They worked so hard to try to prove Jesus a liar while lying themselves ans scheming themselves. That same spirit of Satan has shown itself all throughout history and if we can read these examples, believe them to be true why would then question Jesus' own words about being the son and showing love and respect for his father? The reality is people like this have been around forever and their motives are never pure, just like those in Bible times the motive was prestige, power and money. Same is true today. My advice is to read the Bible for yourself and stop listening to people tell you what you should and shouldn't believe. All the answers are there.

Washer is a Pharisee that is blind to the Gospel and hates the clear fact that people are saved by faith alone in the cross. Pretty ironic that he points to John 3:16 but complicates the text with works based nonsense. There is a huge difference between the Great White Throne Judgment for unbelievers and the Bema Seat Judgment for believes. I hope one day Washer will humble himself and receive Jesus by faith like a child.

You obviously haven’t listened to many of his sermons. What he is saying here is that basically if you’ve been transformed you can’t help but be changed…not that a saved man no longer sins…the difference is does that man repent of his sins and strive to no longer live in it. This will show! “By their works you will know them”…not by their works they are saved…. You can’t separate the two and you misunderstand his message by your own preconceived notions. Be blessed

@@eskolafamily8169 how much change? What’s the cutoff line? Nope. We are saved by believing, just like John 3:16 says we are. Washer is an angry clown.

Do you mean they should feel "unsettled" or "threatened"? Threatening a church should probably force them to push back to their core values and reject new ideas. Threats to a church should probably push them back into their own core values and strong values on which they were founded and built. It should push them back to their foundation with an intent to build on that foundation rather than destroying everything. I think probably that strong individuals can survive secular integration - but I know that there are some religious groups that are exiting secular life altogether. They are taking their children out of public schools and embracing home schooling, for example. They may be suspicious of outsiders and outside values. But integration may be the least of some of their worries with Darwinism, Existentialism, Hedonism and other values apparently threatening what they believe and value. I became confused by the issue of racial integration when I was 5 or 6 years of age and I have simply fought for years to understand the issue and it's nuances and complexities while still preserving my personality and building my own life. But it started by making me "unsettled". Unsettled about my church. Unsettled about my white roots and heritage. Unsettled about America.
