Great video! Funny enough, I’m considering this pack for hiking with kids. I end up running a lot to keep up with them but I also need to carry tons of easily accessible snacks. Thanks for the great overview!

Hi, what body size is this 20l? Regards Brian

Hi Brian - the pack is size S/M and I'm 174cm tall if that helps. I'd recommend trying on the different sizes (S/M and L/XL) as it will fit differently depending on how full you have it, what layers you'll mainly be using.

@@brooksnhi measure 39 inch across the chest, i was worried that the s/m would be neat with a couple of layers on... I am only 5" 6".. What chest size are you?... The next size of bag is m/L which are all out of stock

I noticed that you put a ‘mat’ in your raft. Was that just a standard sleep pad? I have been concerned about putting my foot through the floor and have been considering some form of protection.

Hey Nick, have been looking for reviews for this and here you are! Great review! A couple of questions 1) does the minimal waistband not chafe after a few days and 2) is the 20l big enough for fastpacking with a tiny sub 1kg tent? Have plans to fastpack the SWCP and Cambrian Way over the next few years. Cheers!

Hi Great video. I'm doing UTS 100km this year. How did the innov8 TerraUltra hold up? No problems on the technical terrain
@brooksnh

Hi Michael- thanks! The Terra Ultras were fine, I think 1 slip on wet grass but not a problem on the tech stuff. I’m working the event again this year (team captain at last aid station, so say hi!) but if I was running it I’d probably look to Inov8 Roclite Ultra as no1 option. All the best with your training and the race!

thank you for this video. I just invested in the same bag for a 100K. Have you removed the rigid breastplate inside?
@brooksnh

Hi Gerald- no I’ve still got that in. Might be interesting to try a run without it but I suppose for heavier loads it’s useful. Good luck with the 100k! Which one?

Always nice to see what anyone else carries in their hydration bag, especially on a Snowdonian trail.... and when I told my other half she was delighted to hear you carry M&S Chocolate! 🤣

How did you find the terraultras during the event?
@brooksnh
@brooksnh 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Paul, they were great. With the combo of talc, long Dexshell socks and these shoes I had zero problems with blisters etc. Very different than my 1st 100k in the Lakes 2 years earlier when my feet were ruined for last 15k. UTS is predominately on trail or rock, and grip was absolutely fine, I just slipped once on steep wet grass at bottom of Nantlle but no worries there.
