This is such a beautiful video! This movie is so beautiful and a classic. I fell in love with it and with Lilli Palmer in one fell swoop and I never looked back. I have to say though that Romy was not 14 at the time but 20 and Lilli was 44. Manuela is supposed to be 14,5 years old as per the book and even though Romy looks older indeed she was a perfect choice. Lilli’s Elizabeth is perfection! Her subtlety, looks and expressions let you read a lot between the lines. It’s a pity there is no written interview of either actresses talking about the movie or each other. The producer said they had a great rapport and yet it seems like that after than movie (which was their second together) they avoided each other

Can‘t tell exactly which episode but it‘s relatively at the beginning of the show. It‘s their second kiss scene I guess where Timo interrupts them and Emma is pushing away Jenny which leads to their first fight. I hope this is any helpful.

You did an amazing job. Well done. I really enjoyed it. I have questions for those of you who have read the books. I have not. It is obvious to me the depths and heights of their passion and love for each other ( remaining committed to their “oaths of duty” ). Question 1) What is happening with this “stick“ touching of the fingers, the white smoke transferring from heart to heart? Question 2) In other words, what is happening during this ritual? And Question 3) What is this symbolizing? As already noted, Moraine spoke the words that Suians’ father spoke to her. Thank you in advance for your responses, I appreciate it.
