Cool we got that that's to owner..

Literally the worse Google and Alexa 'integration' possible and the system does not appear to be getting any better. Imagine having to ask one system to ask another system to do something every time. Absolute joke. Even the more expensive wall tablet is as slow as a wet week, absolutely painful!. And don't waste your time with their motion and temp sensors that work when they feel like it. The system could be good, if they were putting effort into development, but it can barely be called a smart system in its current form.

This is rediculous!! why pay to intercept the wiring! All this work to rewire have control modules is such overkill and a huge waste of time. just get WIFI switches and it does the same thing for a tiny fraction of the cost.. can be done yourself or if you're scared of electricity with a 10 minute electrician visit to replace the wall switch.

I’ve had a smarthome for the better part of the last decade. I haven’t had any trouble with Google integration before. This “smart Khaya” seems like an obsolete concept. I just want to be able to say “ok Google, set the upstairs temperature to 22 degrees.” Which is what I can do with several different brands of smart appliances for my aircon. Why can’t I do this with your product directly through the Google home infrastructure?

There is NO electrical work in this task. ANYONE is allowed to plug/unplug devices! For those sparkies (complaining here) that usually charge an "arm and a leg" to do electrical work, "get a life". Most potential diy installers would already be capable of this kind of task, otherwise they would not take it on. What idiot thinks that a fall restraint system is needed inside a domestic roof. Any restraint system would severely restrict movement in the roof space, potentially causing a trip hazard! This is NOT a confined space! This is a space where movement is awkward, but airflow for breathing is fine, especially under a tiled roof. The instructions provided by the participants in the video are clear and safety is described. After the installation of a 28 panel 14 kw solar system, I have had several sparkies performing work at my place. This means ACTUAL wiring work, not power point stuff (as shown here)! NONE of these sparkies turned off the solar connection!! This video does NOT provide any electrical work. You do not need training to get into a ceiling! You do not need training to UNPLUG a LIGHT!

Yeah just encourage untrained people to crawl around in their roof potentially disturbing old wiring and risk a fire. Wonder what your insurance company would say about you doing your own diy electrical. They'll do anything to get out of making a claim, don't give them a reason.
