The first known use of the word "Palestine " is found in five inscriptions referring to a neighboring people or land starting from 1150BCE referring to people who fought with egypt during the king ramses the third during the 20th dynasty of egypt .300 years later on padiiset's Statue. The Assyrians called the same region "Palashtu" or "Pilistu", beginning with Adad-nirari III in the Nimrud Slab in 800 BCE through to an Esarhaddon treaty more than a century later. The first clear use of "Palestine" to refer to the entire area between Phoenicia and Egypt was in 5th century BC Ancient Greece, when Herodotus wrote of a "district of Syria, called "Palaistine" in The Histories, which included the Judean mountains and the Jordan Rift Valley In the treatise Meteorology 340 BCE, Aristotle wrote, "there is a lake in Palestine" which scholars believed was referring to the dead sea . Both the roman and bezantine empires referred to the area as palestine and that was BC . Palestine was used in naming the new Roman province known as"SyriaPalestina" when the Roman authorities created the imperial province after the Bar Kokhba Revolt During the Byzantine period c.390, the imperial province of Syria Palaestina was reorganized into: Palestine 1 , Palestine two and Palestine 3 . From the late period of the Roman empire to the late and fall of ottoman empires the area Was known as Palestine and It's people referred to as Palestinians . (c. 565 - 1918) . the name continued to be documented through out the 18th and 19th centuries .including in a scientific report such as Britain's palestine exploration fund . the PEF is recognized as the oldest organization in the world and was founded in 1865. In 1922 the Are was called " The british mandate of palestine" after the fall of the Ottoman empire . And all sorts of evidence from passports to coins pictures and documents are all available . If that's not enough take a look at "israel's" former "president" Ariel sharon whose birth cirtificate says that he was born in PALESTINE in 1928 when it was a british mandate. you see now that i have traced the history of palestine and how ancient it is even befor Judaism or christianity or even islam . People can forget , or be paid to forget or forced to , Armies can take down cities and build others over them from scrach . History never forgets . History never picks sides . And god is not a real estate agent .
