My very first Album listened to ever ... Summer 1973, rented a brand new copy that just came into the library. I was 8yrs old and my father just bought us a new record player with a built in speaker. it sounded pretty good actually. It bought me to places i never knew existed ... it still does. What a Masterpiece ... Now I have multiple copies, and I'm here now listening to your copy on KZbin, 52 years later in 2025. Just proves this Album is timeless.

Actually yes, under the disc there is a small rubber ring which keeps the disc raised in the centre. The clamp only presses externally and therefore once screwed it helps to keep the edge of the record pressed onto the platter.
