i think they suck as a camp axe, my cheap chinese machete did better at cutting, the edge geometry is all wrong, i rust blued mine, it looks the part, but on a practical level, its not that great at handling camp chores, in case you were wondering, i was homeless in the bush for a year, living totally off the land, with no money, i had the axe, a machete and silky saw, the machete built my camp and split my kindling, i gave up on the cold steel, i still have it as a reminder of the hardest year of my life, and it didn't make life any easier, perhaps all you would be survivors should take a year off work, leave your cell phones and money behind, take your preps, and test them for real for a whole year, you'll soon learn what works, and what doesn't, what you need and what you don't, when i finally came back to society, i was emaciated, its the smallest things you miss, like soap, hot showers, electric stoves and ovens, and the convenience of buying your nutritional requirements from a shop, and access to all of that stuff, a weekend or a week won't teach you about your tools, but a year will, a crkt woods chogan will be more handy, my one was stolen a couple of years before i became homeless, or maybe a cold steel camp axe, don't buy tools based on looks, the cold steel viking axe is too light for serious cutting, even cutting kindling, it will do it, but your better off working smarter, not harder, i'm sure its great for splitting knot free, straight grained wood, but in real life situations, i would buy something else, using my awesome hindsight wisdom, i just wish i had seen it before i wasted my money, they make cool looking project axes, you could be the styliest ragnar lothbrook mf on your block

I cleared about 2 acres using one of those. They'll take whatever you throw at it. I blued the blade on mine but it wears off when you use it. Joe X had to shoot one with a rifle to break it after beating it on a rock and a steel pole. Great light weight ax.

What worked really good for me to secure the head on These cold steel Hawks is to apply some layers of duct tape (how much depends on how good the fit is) where the Tomahawk head and the handle have contact. The Main advantage with this method is that you still can seperate the head from the handle pretty easy, Hope that helps

That's good to know because the Punch (and Stingers) have a longer case than most 22LR so most people report them as not being able to eject properly especially if they get a misfire. Perhaps the later LCP IIs were improved to fix that? If so, I would love to run the Punch as they're considered the best 22LR self defense rounds in terms of performance.

I don't have a Primitrox but I appreciate that it comes in wood. G10 flares up my Levis pocket, around where a pocket knife clips on. The fibers it's made out of, the same grippy-ness acts like fine grit sandpaper with constant movement.. like walking, shifting, sitting, etc. G10 is not truly "EDC" unless you like tearing up your pants. I believe it's made for underwater use.. which isn't EDC. It's a take it to work material. That being said.. I want a Primitrox.

Spontoons were used by British sergeants in the 17th and 18th centuries for defense and discipline..... They also strongly resemble old ice axes used by moutain climbers and ice explorers. Nice example you have there.

I've got one , about 1,400 rounds in , mine runs flawless on the Remington golden bullets , I've got 2 suggestions for you , A commenter below mentioned the Galloway spring kit , I've not changed the springs in mine but I did install the Galloway Sigurd straight trigger , made a world of improvement , also I installed the TANDEMKROSS wingman + 4 bumpers to my mags , it gives me 14 rounds in the mag and 1 in the barrel , = 15 rounds ready to go . I really like and carry mine . Take care .

I picked up one of these a while back for 47$ bucks, I just couldnt pass on those meterials, and once I got it, I honestly gotta say it grew on me and I been carrying it, it's earned pocket time! I was down on Kizer until I got this, I had gotten a Ti Fiest and the detent was so stiff you can barely open it, so I was really disappointed in Kizer, but I took another shot with this blade and I'm glad I did. Also, the lock is really cool and I didn't even realize it was a feature til I received it. It's like a double sided liner lock. Pretty dope, threw a Roman Soldier helmet head lanyard on it and it's in the pocket now.

Wrap your pistol in a couple gallon bags. And work it into the holster. Will help break the leather in and usually will allow it to be removed and placed in the hster more smoothly. However if you are going to replace it with another azula that works too lol. I have an azula on the way for my CZ
