I’m sorry for your struggles! I deal with back and leg pain EVERY day but still get up and go to work! Have dealt with many of the same issues you described but I get up and do my job every day! I unfortunately don’t have the pleasure of sitting on my balcony complaining about it while raking in $$$ from social posts. So sorry for your struggles! Hopefully you are able to find the right treatment so that you can relieve yourself from the comfort of your ocean front beach house and live a normal life and find a job to support your meager lifestyle. I strongly recommend that you go to a major health care system like Mayo Clinic, or Cleveland Clinic. You to go to a system where all the doctors work together, and you have one doctor who is in charge of your overall care. My primary care doctor is with the Cleveland Clinic. I seldom have to repeat tests or MRIs. The images are kept and can be reused and/or reexamined. I know some insurance companies like you to go with a local docotor because of costs, but going to a major health care system ends up being cheaper in the long run for things that are not you everyday common illness such as colds, and flu. Hi Jake. Long time fan. I wish I could offer some helpful advice or at least words of wisdom. The best I can do is say, don't give up. Don't lose hope. Live for your family and friends, even when you hurt so bad that you just want to give up. Let their love carry you through until the doctors figure out what's wrong with your body and offer a treatment. It will be worth the wait. Hugs from Utah.

I know nothing about your health journey, but I have been an advocate for several people with difficulty getting a diagnosis. I've got 2 suggestions off the top of my head. First, remember to have all medical records from specialists sent to your PCP. That keeps all your history in their records even if you don't find the PCP to be helpful, and those records can follow you revealing test results to future specialists. Secondly, you might ask a doctor about the possibility of a neurological cause and consider having them explain why or why not that area can be ruled out. If you want to turn the 2nd suggestion into a 3rd you should be comfortable to take responsibility for your health by asking how a doctor makes their reference to a specialist in your case. It should be more than his opinion, but it should explain how that specialist is ruled out. For that matter, you can also ask a specialist if an appointment is justified, and then you should be able to get your PCP to make the referral. Your insurance provider also has a number for members service on the card with people who can hear your concerns and make suggestions from there. They are more helpful than you might imagine.
