I've been accused of inappropriate behaviour at work this past January and my boss said a lot of people came forward. I had my own work area, I always did my job, was pretty quiet and kept to myself mostly. These individuals caused me trauma and depression. They will pay for what they've done to me

Great content again, Dan. My 2 sessions with you were enlightening and enjoyable. I'd love to see a Brojo hub on every High St for young dudes who are struggling with confidence, self respect and integrity and feel they can't compete with their peers. A blockade on the the highway to bitterness and inceldom 😂 You deserve every success that comes you're way, dude. You're doing important work. Cheers, Davie.

These videos are great! I try to tell myself that I acted like that because I didn't know a better way and I didn't know my worth. I went from kissing everyone's butt to everyone wanting to get an invite to my house. I would say it worked out O.K. and I now know how to help others!

Far out - #7 - so so much this. It sounds stupid now but I remember watching an episode of Donahue (old talk show in the 90s) where women were talking about being harassed in the workplace and my kid brain took that as “I’M GOING TO BE ONE OF THOSE SENSITIVE NEW AGE GUYS, NOT ONE OF THOSE *SLEAZY* GUYS”. Far out. So much of #7 resonates and I’m pretty sure you’re the first person I’ve seen that’s ever spoken specifically about this. I had other school experiences like you described too. “Never be sexual it hurts people”. Still trying to unlearn this lesson to this day.

When you are getting bullied, first is to become aggressive. Have rigid boundaries and overreact to even minor things bully/ gaslighter does or say. Then when they start to distance.. you tone it down to assertive. But if you have let the manipulator to manipulate you and its just too late when you realize... even if you are assertive they won't take to seriously as you already showed them they can easily violate your boundaries with no consequences as you were being passive. Become aggressive , then with time tone it to assertive. And never repeat this mistake of letting it go and get bullied again. Have presence of mind and retaliate, state your boundaries and keeping stating them repeatedly.

Energy parasites/Predators constantly look for a target/victim. Now what is target? In the population's mind it's a weak and dumb person In bully's mind it's a person with or on whom they can safely express/release their insecurities on and no consequences for their actions. If they know they can assalt u and you will not confront them assertively , act like a nice person and don't retaliate or u will not give them consequences to their unwanted actions ... they will safely take it out on you . All energy vampires look for is 1) easy target 2) easy escape.

I agree a lot with this. Boundaries are super important between the couple, both about how they interact with other people and also between themselves (especially physical before marriage). Although they aren’t trust themselves, it creates room to build trust and communicate effectively.

Also, I really agree with connection and relationship. Love is a choice, and too often people leave when they “fall out of love (not true love though).” The emotions fluctuate a lot throughout a good relationship, but the love should always be growing. People rely too much on their emotions (including me sometimes) to discern who is right for them and who isn’t. God bless!

Yeah if you see relationships as more like an agreement to work together than something based on feelings, it makes them much easier to maintain

and then they treat you like a piece of shit so far, and has been treating you like garbage, by liking the staring thing and then i think that they are not nice and i still feel upset by it, getting my best revenge on them, by doing what bullies did to me to parents and still it is not nice!!

my parent likes to put me down every single day of my life and then i felt like i did something wrong or to deserve this in any way and trying to make me angry every time, been the same for 2 years, trying to make me be stared at again, staring thing went out of control, getting really sickening, and disgusting actually!! and almost like painting a picture of me of who i am really not and then they threaten you into the staring thing and it has been like this since November of 2022, still has not changed, it has been two years of this nonsense (11/16/2022-11/17/2024) and it is not nice at all!!

As men we shouldn't judge other's on their past. If you don't agree with it walk away. I don't have an issue with someone's past but from my own experience that past tends to contaminate the future.

I both agree and disagree. Yes taking care of yourself can lead to improvement and growth but so can taking care of others. Many people find themselves in the service of others. When your focused on helping someone else your problems seem smaller.
@brojoDan

Yeah I agree with that, I'm only saying get your own basic needs met before assisting others

Australia definitely has the tall poppy syndrome, but it only manifests in insecure people. I experienced it first hand after moving from the US to Melbourne to do a PhD. I won't go into details, but it was absolutely toxic, and I suffered immensely as a result (I should have just stopped interacting with those people, but I didn't know any better at the time). However, I learned from that experience how to be strong, secure, and independent, so I'm glad that it helped me grow. Now I'm basically a lone wolf and I have learned how to validate myself without needing external validation. I'd like to share some inspirational quotes: "You can't wait on other people To be what you've been called to be You can't wait on their affirmation You can't wait on their approval You can't wait on their support Sometimes you've just gotta run And look behind you and say, 'Everybody that wants to run, run But I can't stop running because you're not running with me' You can't stop chasing your dream Just because somebody in your life won't chase it with you You can't stop believing in yourself Just because somebody in your life won't believe in you You can't stop chasing the dreams of your life Just because when you know when you do it You're gonna have to do it all by yourself" -Opening speech in Ehrling's song "This Is My Passion" "Never play to the gallery. ... Never work for other people. Always remember that the reason that you initially started working was that there was something inside yourself that you've felt that if you could manifest it in some way you would understand more about yourself and how you coexist with the rest of society. I think it's terribly dangerous for an artist to fulfill other people's expectations. I think they generally produce their worst work when they do that." -David Bowie (kzbin.info/www/bejne/mX_Fn5iclMqLeK8) "Never ask advice of someone with whom you wouldn’t want to trade places." -Ben Hardy

What do you mean when you say “irrational person?” afaik that’s not a well-defined term
@brojoDan
@brojoDan 9 күн бұрын
For the sake of this video, the "irrational person" is someone arguing from a place of emotion rather than logic, e.g. disagreeing because they're angry but unable to prove you wrong
