I can't believe that even people like Eva Longoria, who is obviously above average, were at one point called ugly. I remember wanting to look like her so badly when I was young...damn.

One of our sons is adopted and my mom started calling him “mi negrito” I understand it’s meant to be endearing but my partners family is white and they never in no way mention our sons skin tone. This needs to be spoken of more in our community. I told my mom he’s 3 now and won’t remember this but if you ever bring up his skin tone like that then you’re not seeing him. She never did it again after that but my blood still boils a bit when I think about it

Correct, being passive doesn't make you kind. But it also doesn't make you unkind. You know what IS unkind? Constantly pushing your partner down and acting superior. Telling a man you've known for a few weeks that: - you turned him from a boy into a man, - that you won't treat him as an equal until he proves to be an equal, - telling him that he failed tests when you admitted he'd done nothing wrong that night. In the kindest way I can present it, you're in the Dunning-Kruger Effect danger zone. You may have learned a lot about adulting by 26 compared to others your age, but there's still SO much more to learn. Too much to be acting this superior. I'm 39 and realizing there's still so much more for me to learn. That's how Dunning-Kruger works. You will wake up one day and realize you didn't earn the confidence you exuded. You will get pushed down onto your ass, humbled. I'm not trying to be a jerk, it happens to everyone. It's just that those of us that are considerably older can see it from a mile away.

Arrogance is always the main symptom of low self esteem. But not being willing to look herself in the mirror and self analyze she will always look for fault in others so others won't have time to point her faults out. Talking over someone trying to answer her question and changing the subject is another way of NOT hearing others explain her faults. She uses the excuse that she just a direct person to try to minimize the possibility of taking responsibility for her actions. She may never grow up mentally and until she does she should not pursue a relationship with anyone.

This world from day one to now with humans speaking will always talk shit about colour. Its sad but the truth. Its how wars carry on and on and on. Imagine no such thing as skin colour. And just being ,and living and not thinking about bloody skin colour all the time. Toddlers and kids do all the time until some weird skin colour thought processing comes into play. If somebodys a dickhead yes slag them off but nobody chooses their skin colour. Right rant over

She actually auditioned for Elphaba first, and I'm so glad she got cast as Glinda-but it's hard to have sympathy about her love life when she's released tracks called "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored"😂she's also put people through things❤love her though

@@stoneytony8694Yes she did say that but just because she loves Wicked. But it has always been Glinda since she saw it the first time. Also she definitely didn’t audition first for Elphie cause she has told everybody multiple times she came in fully pink on her first audition. Jon wanted her to read for both parts but she wanted Glinda from the start 😅

We need to relearn the art of empathy and sympathy again. We can agree that money and access are advantages that could/ should make life easier for most while also understanding that there are terrible things that people can experience that we may never understand no matter what someone’s financial or educational background may be. Being mentally and emotionally manipulated as a child by adults and people you should trust into doing things you never should be doing can be traumatic for anyone no matter how much money you make from it. Feeling guilty that your event and craft was used to hurt people you wanted to bring joy to is traumatic no matter how much money the event made. Losing a loved one/ friend to drug abuse and then having the world blame you is traumatic for anyone no matter how many “fans” you have or people know you. We need to stop pretending that money and fame make a person untouchable to bad experiences and negative emotions. If you only want to watch/listen to artists when they’re not opening up and being themselves, then do that, but maybe listening to interviews where they express themselves as a full person isn’t for you and we can understand that while agreeing that it’s not for anyone to judge their desire to be more than just their job. Being an actress, singer, or influencer is just a job and they should feel free to change their job if they want, to take a break if they want, and to share as much of or as little of themselves in their work as they want. I don’t know when we started to believe that we are entitled to tell other people how to do their job, but I think we would all benefit from relearning the art of leaving things that don’t suit you, but don’t hurt anyone else alone.

In a way this video is quite inspiring, because it shows that anyone can have a podcast with thousands of views. This presenter is a personality vaccuum, I've never seen anything like it. Sycophantic, barely literate, incredibly boring. "Like" every three words, clearly no research apart from sitting on her arse watching TV. Terrible.

I resonate with Mary struggling to get the words out bc I feel like she’s so soft hearted and maybe a little guarded with how critical people can be. It makes more sense now knowing how much she’s been through. I hope her book does well! She’s a sweetheart & it’s tough to stop the people pleasing cycle 🫠

I totally agree about her views on Bella 😊 Edward is a stalker, manipulator, he gaslights, underestimates Bella’s capabilities, and tries to control her. Jacob is not better either. Bella is a teeneager with self-confidence issues, lacks a support system, has no idea what it means to be in a healthy, loving, caring relationship where people commune honestly.
