Speilberg really didn't use this setting to its full potential. There's horror elements, a mystery and of course close calls, thrills and interesting ideas in the novel of the lost world. But Spielberg i guess just wanted his godzilla moment and sort of steered the plot toward a trex being on the mainland.

I wish there was something like this but with Ian Malcolm and maybe like Eddie car having a few word exchanges weather it's about a favorite candy bar or just popping a couple jokes every like 7 minutes or something and maybe reacting to the dino noises a little but this is great thanks for the audio!

Could you imagine if the winch jammed when Eddie starts it to get the high hide up.... but stops at the height in the animated photo as the t rex roars immediately after? 😂 sorry tired me is something else lol

The high hide for some reason in the movie didnt seem like a safe place to hide, but rather like a piniata dangling humans for dinosaurs out there willing to eat them and ive never read the novel

The original Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park have a unique quality that the newer films-especially the later entries in the Jurassic World series-just don't quite capture. There's a tactile, grounded feel to the effects in those early films that is hard to match with today's heavy reliance on CGI.

@@constanceway45 I know it's such a pain. Can't even listen to my own vids without ads. It's only on the ones with music though. There's a good downloader for mac called 4k downloader which I usually use to just download longer vids and listen ad free. If I ever get round to setting up a patreon I'll upload some of these so there's no ads
