What happened to dj Swan e? Can't find anything recent about him. He did some wicked live sets in the mid 90s. United Dance 16th June 1995 springs to mind. I was there 👍 Ledge times ❤💯💫👍

Was a very nice set on that night… good quality upload on this listened on other uploads and quite a few mutes shame…. I only live 20minutes from. Institute loved the club back in day, and sanctuary island music arena illford etc. went to so many one pure history lesson for sure ( 93 to 97 ) best bits for me. 48 lol

I used to start every single day with this mix for about a year 🤣 really loud. My neighbours loved me a lot. Absolute classic. If you’re a dj you know what this is. So much more than it seems! Acapellas mixed with instrumentals to make a full tune. Samples galore. All before “sync” even existed. Pretty formative stuff. One of the best for sure. You’re a legend for posting it Sir.

@@classicmixes indeed! A physical needle running in a physical groove on a record! Too heavy with those fingers and you’re f*cked! If you can mix on records anything else is just too easy! Coincidentally my girlfriend bumped into Terry Farley yesterday (they live close by each other). I said next time you see him say “back to the floor to get some more …” and if he says “bass” buy him a drink!

Ned Ryder was not one of the most well known jungle DJs during the 90s and Ron of course was the jungle DON but ned was the culprit of probably my favourite jungle sets of all time and ron was on the line up at that same night it was also at one of my favourite venues the que club Birmingham !... The untouchables June 94... Ned Ryder blew everyone out of the water and the tunes he played that night i heard maybe 5 from other djs he played a real deal set and bassman was on the mic..... It's on line and the other djs who played like ron rap Randall Mickey finn groove ratty and I forgot but the ned was class

Hi There Slipmatt I was wondering if you could please help me out in some way, I am actually looking for a Tune from 1995 - 1998 it's got a fast garage or Rave beat & in the tune Let's get ready to rumble (it was a boxingTune) so if you could help me find that I would be very very grateful, I used to play it in some Mixes but it was a mates tune & he never ever til this day didn't give me the name of it so I've been looking for it ever since.

@@classicmixes he wasn't on another tape pack after his set at amazon. The whole of KGBs set is quality shame he wasn't a regular after that. I once tracked down the name of a tune from an old One Nation set from 95 after years of searching and got hold of the producer, he said the master recording was lost on an old DAT tape
