Well, YOU are definitely young. We used to have the CSS - City Shuttle Service/mini buses in the 1980s in Singapore. There were 2 types: the longer ones which took a longer route, serving more ppl (I remember no 8 plying Henderson Rd...) and the mini ones: no 3 & 5. I used to take no 5 from Orchard Rd to Stevens Rd (to sch); it also passed by ACS at Barker Rd. This service was discontinued probably by end 80s.
