Filemnya sangat bagus👍👍👍. Saya menontonnya di Terbit21 filem inggeris subtitle Indonesia. Terharu walau mereka kalah kerana terlibat kemalangan. Mereka terus ke garis penamat dengan mengangkat kereta mereka yang rosak. Disitulah rasa terharunya kerana seluruh penonton bertepuk tangan memberi semangat kepada mereka. Filem Terbaik 👍👍👍.

OK this is not the Jamaican Bobsled team, these are the Ninja Turtles. I mean seriously Derice is Leonardo, Yul is Raphael, Junior is Donatello and Sanka is obviously Michaelangelo.

I've seen some of the Interviews with the Original Jamaican Bobsledders who watched this Movie to point out what was Facts and Fiction in real Life. A lot of the movie was Fiction and they pointed it out of being Hollywood wanting to make the story funny

Out of the four bobsledders, I always admired Sanka the most. He was the one guy who was bold enough to say what was on his mind, had a sense of humor, and enjoyed himself. Even though he didn't win his argument about being the driver, he still said how he was the best driver on the island.

@Steveman27 That's true since Sanka didn't come up with the idea to be on a bobsled team but, he wanted to be the main one on the team as the sled driver. On the other hand, perhaps the reason why Irv made Derice the driver instead was because, the bobsled team was all Derice's idea and Derice kept on begging Irv to be the coach and his making Derice the driver was like he was saying, "you wanted this bobsled team, you forced me to be the coach, so you drive the bobsled." Perhaps another reason why Sanka wanted to be the driver was because he liked that idea of Derice saying that he (Sanka) could be on a Wheaties box for being a famous bobsledder.

Haha sanka is so damn funny. Doug E. Doug was the perfect comedian to play him. They all did amazing job. I loved their chemistry together.

I guess the only reason Irv made Derice the driver was because, the whole bobsledding team was his idea and Irv himself didn't want to coach from the start (he probably still didn't want to do it but somehow must have been happy to be persuaded once they arrived to the Olympics) and his making Derice the driver was like he was saying "this bobsledding thing was your idea, so you are going to be the one to drive it" especially Derice's look at 1:04, 1:09, 1:23, and 1:33 was like he was thinking "this whole bobsledding idea was a big mistake" and it was surprising how Irv decided to scare him explaining how a bobsledder driver has to stay focused at all times and has to study pictures of turns in the hotel room while the other guys can have fun enjoying beers which explains in the bar scene as to why Derice wasn't there but only Junior, Yul, and Sanka were in the bar and got into a fight with the other customers.

@@sbarrow06 Yes, this could be one of the reasons why Irv was very strict about making Derice the driver preventing Sanka from driving when I'm sure normally a coach would say "why don't you all decide who should drive, who should brake, and who will be the two middlemen?" but instead he chose the seats for Derice, Junior, Yul, and Sanka just to make Derice the driver. Especially as Irv was explaining the whole responsibility of the driver, he was looking at Derice in a strict way where Derice's even more disappointed look was at 1:33 like he was saying "I think running is a lot better than bobsledding, I shouldn't of opened my big mouth bugging Irv from the beginning, who cares about being famous and having my face on a Wheaties cereal box anyway." But I guess at the end all four guys got their faces on a Wheaties cereal box.

@@afriendofbean I also think Sanka would have made a better brakeman anyway since Derrice was the faster runner. That would perhaps be the whole reason why Irv chose him to be the driver. He did, after all, try to recruit his father for the same position years ago.

@@sbarrow06 It's unknown who is a faster runner than who only because Junior caused Derice and Yul to trip when they were trying out. However, Irv told Yul how he will be the second middleman only because he was strong and quick and if Irv thought Yul was faster than Derice he should have made Yul the driver. Plus, it sounds like Irv didn't know who was faster or better than who only because all Derice did was bug Irv to be the coach until he agreed. But yes, maybe Irv wanted Derice to look like he was following in his father's footsteps since Irv bobsledded with Derice's father.

When his teammates are all out drinking beer, he's up in his room, studying pictures of turns. You see, a driver must remain focused 100% at all times. Not only is he responsible for knowing every inch of every course he races, he's also responsible for the lives of the other three people in his sled. Now, do you want that responsibility?
