Saw them in 1979 as a 16yr old, and just drove up to Mesa, Az last week to see them for a 20th time. They were right!! Buck as always sounded great and Eric was as energetic as all those years ago. Killer band that hasn’t lost a thing. 🎸

Seen them live in 1978 at City Hall in Newcastle, on live LP. Buck Dharma playing and looking like he was looking for his friend in the crowd. Lasers show, before everyone thinks Genesis was first to do this, best night of my life, after Led Zeppelin in 1979.

It's almost like the camera producer hates Buck. Every time he's about to start shredding, it pulls away. It's like, know the song a bit so you can cut into the guitar work better. The only stain on this historic video version.

I'm 66, I've jumped fences, hid in a packed pisser, got chased by the red coats, to see Eric bloom and buck Dharma. God Eric was my mentor, Short of an IDOL.. period

No wonder there are times I can't get this song out of my head. Eric's best vocal ever, Albert absolutely kills it on drums, and Buck is Buck.
