I wish you all the best Arend. To you and your family. And I hope you will make your dreams true in Russia. But let me warn you: beware of ticks. I live 37 miles away from Nizhny Novgorod and there are quite a lot of ticks this year. These ticks are not as bad as in Siberia or Altai but ticks are ticks anyway. Learn about tick-borne encephalitis. Maybe you know Justus Walker. His parents moved to Russia from USA when he was a kid. He has a farm in Altai now. He is good but he had tick-borne encephalitis a few years ago. This disease hit him hard. So be careful.

I knew a family in Trinidad who kept a couple of goats. One of them, Mary, became a household pet and roamed the house and loved getting you head scratched. It's heartwarming to see your children appreciating and enjoying nature. I love the education I'm getting through watching your farm videos. No matter your age we can always learn new things and should always keep trying learning.

29:42 The thousand-ton triangular obelisk symbolizes a soldier’s bayonet, rising 141.8 meters: every 10 centimeters of the monument symbolizes one day of war. At an altitude of 104 meters, the monument features a 25-ton bronze statue of the goddess of victory Nike, holding a wreath in her hands and surrounded by figures of two angels with trumpets. At the base of the stele there is also an equestrian statue of St. George the Victorious, who strikes a serpent symbolizing fascism with a spear. The obelisk is decorated with gilded names of hero cities and bas-reliefs of the Battle of Stalingrad and Kursk and the Belarusian operation.

Yes, nice to see a proof that our tax money are not wasted. Can imagine exposition of American military equipment Afghanians could make. The sadnest part is that somebody is making huge money because thousands of people from used to be most closest republics are dying fighting each other.

I love raising geese and would love to work at a foie gras farm. Wouldn't it be cool if I/we could get a work permit and live and work on such a farm in Russia while we learn the language! 😁 If you guys know of one that might be hiring an American with 6 kids (ages 2, 15,16,17,17 &19) we would be all over it!

Hello from Vancouver, Canada. Thank you for your videos guys. I really enjoy watching your journey to a new life which is not easy, speaking from experience as an immigrant to Canada (15 years ago). I hope one day I will be able to visit your farm❤️ in Nizhnii Novgorod, when I visit my family back in Vologda. BTW, speaking of tourism. It reminded me of the small farms in Vancouver that mostly grow berries. They have fields, where city people can come and pick berries for themselves (cheaper than buying from stores and more fun), they also have a playground for kids, a small cafe (mostly ice cream with berry toppings, hotdogs), tables, and even a petting zoo. In Russia not many people will come to pick berries or fruits, as most Russian families have their own dacha. But as a small road trip to “The Canadian farm” (this is how probably you will be known to locals 😊) it would be interesting. Some farms in Vancouver (Maple Wood Farm for example- you can search them online) have field trips from preschools and offer birthday parties 🥳. I am so excited about how many opportunities you have in Russia ❤
