Who much is a box of fry?

A lot depends on the size of your lake or pond and your budget. On smaller ponds I recommend 1 box per acre. On our farm we pland 250,000 per acre to grow out for market. In perfect conditions we will have 1000 lbs per acre of 4lbs per 1000 fish. Of course there are many factors in play on our farm and your lake that can change that. We average 95% survival in our nursury ponds each year under average conditions.
