Look for flexing on the compensator when the starter pulls, and look for moement on the chain tensioner. The biggest difference is the bike starts up easy.

@@Sir.Espeno thanks bro, I dont have the guts to do it myselve, can I ask you can it be done in say 2.5 hour in case I let the HD shop or dealer do it? Here in Holland the dealer ask 530 euro for the SE compensator, 188 for the rotor 20 for the glue kit excluding the seals. 115 euro per hour labour. My bike is the 2011 fatboy lo.

I am very unsure about time use. The inner and outer primary cover must come off, and the starter. So it also depends on foot pedals, and gears that need to be dismantled. Would think 3-4 hours if the job goes as it should be a good guess. Glue must also dry before remounting the primary cover.

The fuel gauge is more like a poor indicator. My plan was to run out of summer diesel as much as possible, before I had to fill up with winter diesel. Unfortunately, it was a little too empty. But the tanks have not been drained, and benefited from a drain to get water and diesel animals out. Unfortunately, it ran out in an unfortunate place 😂

That video just reminds me that, I'm so glad I bought a new Belarus diesel tractor 30yrs ago! Might not be the best or refined (modern) but it just runs, and has never let me down especially running out of fuel, very frugal. Good luck, some of these diesels are can be a bear to get restarted. That tractor looks like a keeper, once fixed

The tractor bled itself and started quite easily. The problem was water and particles from the diesel tank which clogged the diesel pipes and it froze. The diesel tank has not received good maintenance from the past.

People in my area are trading in their traditional snow blowers and putting these on instead . These blowers have been around a long time and there is a big demand for them forcing companies to start selling them again. Yours was doing a decent job but with this much snow 4 wheel drive and a bucket or plow would help immensely. Thanks for the video. It's an Inverted Blower 🇨🇦👍

Hello Canada! I'm from middle of Norway. The blank is a filter housing for the cooling system, it has a filter cartridge for cleaning cooling water. There was a lot of rust in the cooling system when I bought the tractor. My tractor has a glow plug in the intake manifold, which also has a diesel supply. The diesel pump has a separate position for starting, I think this gives extra diesel for cold starting, also for the glow plug. I give it full throttle when the diesel pump is in the start position. The key supplies power to the glow plug in half position, and after approx. 10 seconds, a puff is heard, when diesel is ignited in the intake manifold, and the tractor starts quite quickly. In cold weather it has to be in start position, full throttle, and I still hold the glow plug for 1 minute. I dont use a engine heater. Pardon my google tanslate :D

I was told I may have to replace injection pump or fuel injectors or may be both.....
@Sir.Espeno
@Sir.Espeno Жыл бұрын
That was sad! I don't know your tractor, but I would have dismantled the diesel pipe connections and seen where the diesel comes out or not. If necessary, blow clean diesel pipe. On my tractor, the diesel tank has a large tank on each side. Return comes on one side and supply on the other side. If the pipe between these is blocked, one side runs out. And the other when refilling looks completely full. Before changing the injector pump, I would try and connect an external diesel tank high up, so you are sure it gets diesel. I have worked very little with the tractor and diesel engine, but I hope it helps.
