I had the “gaming sucks” mindset before. I got out of it by distancing myself from KZbinrs that push gaming politics, conspiracy theories, and console war nonsense. When you start focusing on the politics of gaming instead of playing games your enjoyment of the media is going will be corrupted. Also slow down your consumption of the media. play games for the experience, not just to beat it for some virtual trophy, achievement, or bragging rights.

I agree Zach. However, I do think lots of what is going on is things are being put through a filter. Or certain narratives are being pushed in the gaming/entertainment industry. Also, lots of these older games are being re-packaged and the prices are being overinflated because with all these game development companies closing, fewer employees are available to work on these projects. I think, people have caught on. Like, "Why, am I going to pay top dollar for a game that is not great or that's been out for over 20 years just to be disappointed?" I know hardcore fans will pay whatever the price but a lot of people won't. Finally, in my opinion, part of this is just normal stagnation of the market. Like, the demand/bell curve. Demand builds up slowly, hit a peak, stagnates, drops, a builds up again the way of the market. That being said, my hope is in the next few years things pick up again but time will tell. For example, in the mid 20s, there was mostly army and fighting games. But by the 2010s, the market exploded with good selections. Although, I don't play as many games anymore I enjoy watching others play.

All good points! I do believe we'll have a resurgence once things even out from the layoffs and studios learn to make games in a new sustainable way.

For sure, love most of those and even more from that gen. 👍 My point about that era being bad industry wise is it was the first time that we experienced these weird cash grabs we hadn't seen before like expansion/season passes and DLC for things we used to just unlock from playing the game.

The glue I got bonds to the plastic sleeve better, regular super glue may work but didn’t want to risk them falling off later on!

Skipping out on Cloud and Aerith’s Rebirth figure as they are the same exact ones I have for their Remake ones except only difference is slightly different face. But yes getting all of those that aren’t like that, first up should be Yuffie or Elena!

Im not too familiar with frames. You said that the mat and frame are 46.5 x 34.25. Wouldn't they be different sizes since the frame is larger than the mat?

The mat would be 46.5 x 34.25. With the outside frame the whole thing would be larger than that. The size I gave is the surface size you need to fit all the cards in.

Nice work on your frame. For mine I used builders chalk line to layout all the grids for each card line horizontally and vertically(paint brush removes chalk later) and rolls of double sided tape along the grid lines to attach the sleeves too. Starting from each corner of the sleeve attaching them down and pulling them somewhat tight to avoid and wrinkles, I got to say it turned out unreal.

Hello guys,, Nomura is behind the names Remake and Rebirth, and he said that he didn't want to name it "Remake Part 2" because it would make you think that there is Part 3, Part 4, and Part 5... They want each game of the trilogy as a separate game anyone can play it if you put "2" that means you need to play Part 1.

I'm trying to get this shipped internationally to me but having some issues with the proxy service refusing to ship via Japan Post based on size limitations, which I don't think this should fall under... but I can't find the information online. I don’t have the dimensions but I will say I had to do a return for the Roche figure with bike which is the same size and the distribution had it within one box and another and it is was RIGHT at the limit to be able to ship internationally so this doesn’t surprise me. I would find another distributor like amiami who I went through because if they don’t know the limits that is probably the issue.

@@DweeBros Thanks in any case! It's a proxy service so I bought the item already and it's in their storage, just need to ship it. Can't buy it elsewhere sadly since I already paid for it here and there's no refunds...I believe the shipper box is right at the US limit, and the limit for my country is even lower, which is why I was trying to find out the windowed box dimensions...

Oh ok gotcha. In that case it’s not really the figure box in the end that matters but the shipping box they’re using along with the packing materials within that may be taking it over the limit needed.

Whoops, made a mistake. Along with this being different than the Shinra soldier bike it also has a different front hood. Wasn't missing/broken just a different design unless I got a error version!

I’m actually extremely impressed! I didn’t preorder this one as I’m not the biggest Roche fan. I have kinda accepted him a bit more as I’m playing Rebirth 😅. But the figure itself is honestly one of the best I’ve seen them produce. And the bike! Now I’m torn between going after at least one or both. Damn! Choices… Great review! 👍🏼

Not glass but it's plexi glass and yes it is UV resistant. Would not recommend regular glass for something this big if that is what you meant!

I have the cloud and Jessie bike set and I had the same reaction when I saw how big the box was it had cloud on one side Jessie on the other and the bike in the middle they are huge boxes 😂
