I only played very casually this and quake3 back in my day but ive noticed that for some reason these pro UT2004 duels are more entertaining to watched than ones in q3. Maybe Quake made itself more professional but I feel like UT was always the Cool Guy.

is it me or the link gun become more accurate when on target ?
@skaven_ut
@skaven_ut 3 ай бұрын
@@hemlish417 Nope it is just you. Maybe in instant action mode w/ offline auto-aim option? I think ut4 has a bit of aim assist for tracking, but not 2k4. Linkgun in 2k4 is in fact super badly designed. It often does not register when xhair is on target. It becomes usable on very low ping and decently high (>40) tickrate values (serverside parameter)
@skaven_ut
@skaven_ut 3 ай бұрын
@@hemlish417 I think I get your point though. When hits do register, it slows down opponent's movements who cannot dodge anymore. So in a way you can lock on target 'harder'. But online, no aim assist per se in any shape or form

hello i have a question in your opinion how should kovaaks be used ? and how did you use it ?
@skaven_ut
@skaven_ut 5 ай бұрын
Hi Just don't fall for the trap of playing kovaaks for the sake of it The best aim trainer is usually the game you want to improve on. I used kovaak's as a routine exercise. Warzone was heavily tracking oriented so I'd warm up 20-30min with tracking scenarios first thing before heading to servers

@@arachis6365 well if your goal is to be better at your FPS and you had 2 hours to spend every day: 20min kovaak everyday + 1h40 of your game will most likely yield better results in both at the end of the week than 2*2 hours sessions of kovaak and 5*2h of your game
