What if I want a diesel generator, can I fill the fuel tanks with diesel? And I always say why do people waste time on an introduction, but your is very peaceful and welcoming.

Thank you for the kind words. Yes you can certainly use diesel in the fuel tank. We have done that for a customer in the past. If I recall correctly we installed the Onan QD because it was not possible to order it from DRV with it.

yall need to make a camper for pipeliners, a nice functional 5th wheel, big bedroom and shower, setup similar to an alliance paradigm but a high quality product. Market it to pipeliners and it will sell like crazy

I'm sorry my friend I did not understand your question. I had to translate. The camera and all my equipment is top notch. It's a GoPro 12 and for this video I had just bought the Max Lens 2.0 but used it without reading the directions. I hadn't changed the settings for it so it looked terrible. I apologize. The Ikon is a nice rig but I can 100% tell you that the XL is a very suitable replacement for the Ikon. I've driven every model of Renegade a lot and my favorite is the XL. With the XL I've never missed anything the Ikon has. It's just as beautiful and capable without the million dollar price tag. Thanks for watching!

Good explanation.. nice camera work.. I am having some difficulty with the locking the arms into their locked position.. Can these locking mechanisms be lubricated? Adjusted? Or do I need more Wheaties for breakfast?

Thank you for watching. Lubricate the arms with silicone spray. Do not use WD40 because it dries up and it also attracts dirt. In fact do not use anything except silicone. Silicone dries non sticky. Spray particularly where the spring mechanism is and where parts slide against each other. If the arms and mechanism have a lot of build up of crud on them I would suggest spraying them down with high pressure water to get it clean. Then give them some time to dry. Then really soak them with silicone spray to get all the water out. Use the silicone spray liberally. Inspect the arms closely as with age and too much crud build up they can get bent with causes them not to go in and out smoothly. If they are bent they might need to be replaced. Fortunately parts for these Zip Dee manual awnings are not too expensive. I have had some success bending straight bent awning arms although a lot of care must be used and you run the risk of causing further damage if you are not careful. Good luck.

Why not do something to shield those dump valves and put all those plumbing connections in the same place. To much stuff subject to Mother Nature and the possibility of damage.

Thanks for watching Cody. Most every trailer has dump valves and wet bays similarly orientated. Everything in the RV industry is born of necessity. So far this has not been an issue which is why they remain as they are.

For what looks like a hi end unit on the outside, it looks like a construction site office trailer on the inside. And what boob puts a battery shut off switch in the middle lost in the wires , deep in the storage bay when in use would be unreachable if needed to be shut off in a hurry?

ATC trailers are not meant to look luxurious on the inside. They are meant for owners that play hard and abuse their trailers hence the commercial heavy duty interiors. If it's a pretty interior in a toy hauler you are interested in we can sell you a DRV Full House model. The master disconnect you are referring to is meant to be used for maintenance and long term storage. The disconnect you are using normally is on the inside in a cabinet. Watch the full video. Watch a KZbin video on Propane automatic switch over valve. You should have both tank valves open.

I appreciate the feedback David but I prefer not to use the automatic changeover feature because when you are out, you are out. Most towables do not have an LP level indicator inside so you do not have a way of knowing when you are low. This way when you run out you simply change the valve and have the opportunity to then refill the empty tank.

Solar will always provide a trickle charge as long as there is available light, however when driving the auxiliary alternator will provide all the charging you need.

AC, TVs, and 90% of every in our life has DC-operated devices and more efficient AC devices. Furthermore Solar has become cheaper and 1000 times better. Four 400w 48vdc solar panels with four 420Ah 48vdc lithium batteries cost about the same as a generator. Using 48vdc Solar then dropping the volts down to 12vdc multiply your Ah by four more than enough. We are not cavemen, RV can be as SMART, Amazon Echo' s ALEXA or Google's NEST are the two leaders in the SMART WORLD where there are over 172 billion products available at a cheap price. Everything from lights, outlets, fans, cameras, locks, and vacuums to monitoring your batteries, water, and temperature level, and security will automatically make corrections, and notify you, the police fire department. SMART sensors do not only contact you but can flash all the lights outside, sound an alarm with a message as to the emergency. They can switch power, change temperatures, shut off water and gas at the source, start fans, and put small fires out with no input from you. The best thing is everything can be controlled by Dashboards, CELL Phones, or VOICE commands, from anywhere on the planet. The guy who has the best KZbin channel about this is ''AUTOMATE YOUR LIFE'' check him out.

You should be able to James if you fold up the dinette and put the first one all the way up to the kitchen area. After you load the second one at the very rear then lower the bed over it so you can stow your gear on the bed. These things are built tough!

Not quite but in the ballpark. These can be around 80k to 95k depending on what options it is configured with. This one in particular is around 90k.

The drivers door must be open to add fuel. Poor design, it will cause the interior to fill with fumes plus a safety concern.

The fuel area is a separate partition. Only the lip of the left edge of the fuel door goes under the driver door for locking purposes. If you look at the design closely the fueling area is well outside of the weatherstripping for the door. Even leaving the fuel cap off would not result in fumes in the cabin provided the door was properly closed. This design has been in service since 2007 and is tried and proven. It is one of the longest running and most successful chassis by any manufacturer. Thank you for watching.

You open the drivers door to open the fuel door ( no one can get to the fuel cap with the front doors locked) after fuel door is open you can now close the drivers door to remove the fuel cap to add fuel, no fumes can get into the coach.
