Nice smooth flying..would you recommend a 5inch ducted quad? I’m still rocking the shendrones squirt v2 love it!! 7-8 minutes flight times with hero 9 onboard.
@kennethsandsaerialfilming16111 ай бұрын
I would highly recommend getting the StanFPV Ducts for a well tuned 5”-they just make it absolutely rock solid as if it’s on rails-superior build and strength-they are a great alternative to a CineWhoop as you still have the option of removing them and going back to having a screaming freestyle 5”!!

great stuff, not sure about the lens distortion though, i always use less than the presets apply, theres this thing where presets distort the center even further away? never made sense to me, for me the problem with the natural distortion was it pushed the center away so i want to bring it back (secretly jealous of mini 3 lens ) for me the worst effect is when applying yaw all the sides move and flex i would rather crop all of that away. hey did you know davinci has built in cinema bars? lol i've used it a few times now and i still cant just tell you where they are, one of the drop downs has some vague phrase, ''restricted view'' or something.

superb dive, camera work is first class too. how is your slow flying coming along?
@kennethsandsaerialfilming161 Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Slow flying-what's that? Gripping the reins tightly as this wild stallion pulls me along!
@TheMadmacs Жыл бұрын
@@kennethsandsaerialfilming161 hehehe, you seem to be doing really amazing with a wild quad, you throw it around like a pro, youre wearing the spurrs hehehe, just polish every landing to the nearest inch, that should get the slow skills shiny enough. i promise you, you will take off from somewhere you can't land back at and the slow stuff will come in handy, cite: me flying in livingstone, flying out over the river to let a couple pass, and quickly realizing there was no easy way back through the scraggle onto the path, but at least i managed to panic with style hehehe
@kennethsandsaerialfilming161 Жыл бұрын
@@TheMadmacs thanks for your kind comments. I can throttle down and pitch back well enough to land slowly and smoothly on hard concrete, though this beast’s inherent nature loathes it.

oh wow, incredible footage and pretty tasty flying, there was no need to scare the life outta that tree, that was just showing off hehehehee...... you musta got out some good distance there? did you go with 6 or 7inch? looked like tonnes of control in the dives, my 5 inch is like dropping a rock and theres a whole lot of speed management going on to avoid coming out at 120mph.
@kennethsandsaerialfilming161 Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! Been building up loads of practice before I attempted these Glencoe Climb n' Dives- I used the 6" Hybrid between a Long range 7" and 5" Freestyle-it's got such a smooth tune on it but the motors are insane and with the 4000mAh lithium ion batts and XF Nano, she goes a fair distance but it's like jumping onto the back of a wild stallion and I'm just holding on!
@TheMadmacs Жыл бұрын
@@kennethsandsaerialfilming161 i just can't bring myself to put a gps on a quad for these places, betaflight has improved lately but its still another point of failure, and bar unplugging it for slow proxy stuff i'm not sure i can switch it off with a command. anyway, always check your notams for glencoe, even when youre flying safe. i saw a big 4 prop heavy carrier swoop left and right and left again passed the carparks, a few hundred feet above the glen, the worrying thing is it just sounded like a motorbike coming up the road!!!!.... helicopters are a extremley noisy and easy to hear over a mile away, but jets are silent and so was this big heavy carrier. ps. how much cam angle did you use? especially on the buchaille? i'm at 10degrees and really struggle climbing up steep stuff like on arran, you had a great climb angle but i suspect it was making you fly over 60mph for a cruise?
@kennethsandsaerialfilming161 Жыл бұрын
@@TheMadmacs yes I always check Notams, just a habit from my commercial camera drone flying days. O3 Camera angle is between 15°-20° and GoPro Mini11 set at 20°.
