I grew up in Boston.. loving the Boston Red Sox & the American League. But, I always admired how tough & gritty Pete Rose played.

His longevity and durability are true miracles. How he never suffered one severe injury in his career, I'm sure I'll never know.

watch when he was talking to DG. He clearly was looking like he was ignoring Beilein. That's how bad he was here.

I think the punishment given pete rose was probably the most effective punishment ever given. No one loved his sport more than pete rose… to be banned hurt him more than anyone could ever imagine. Anything short of total banishment would have been water off a ducks back, pete would have found a way to have made due. Total banishment was only way. It’s a sad story but he brought it on himself.

Could’ve just discussed with the Native American people a way to meet in the middle to stay as an “Indian” themed team but find a new way (name/logo) to honor them in a better way

It's not macho to run over a catcher if he's blocking the plate? That's the most macho thing you could do playing baseball, until they disallowed it👎

Rose drove the ball all over the field when he hit. Stan Musial hit the same way, albeit with more power than Rose.

Torts is the kind of coach I'd love to have! A coach who drives you, pushes you, makes you hate him, makes you want to punch him! A coach who makes you the best player you can be! He's not there to be your friend! He's there to be your coach!

When the ball touches the pitchers glove, the pitcher needs to pause even the glove needs to stop moving. Then once he starts to move he has to pitch the ball. Its to keep the rhythm of the ball game. The pitcher balked because his glove never came to a stop before pitching.

I grew up playing competitive baseball. In the days of the Big Red Machine, I was a staunch White Sox fan, but had to watch some NL games because my best friend was a Cubs fan. Another friend of mine was an award-winning high-school catcher who turned down pro offers. (Go figure. He didn't believe the people complimenting him.) Having watched and played countless games over the decades, I always estimated Johnny Bench to be the greatest catcher alive. I was not a Reds fan, so I could always state without bias that Bench was the best catcher that I ever saw.

I remember when my family went to an Angel's game in the 1990's and their bus left then at the Stadium and my Dad offered then a ride and we dropped them off at their Hotel! It's such a great memory. We talk about it all the time I wonder if these players remember.

I don’t know what what computer tells you that your starter can’t go through the lineup more than two times I think that computer and I throw it out it’s absolute crazy to go to your bullpen in the second inning of the game. That’s just crazy.

We have to beat them this year...No way do the Yankees deserve to be in the world series over us yet again...let alone win a 28th one...time for the underdog to come up. The difference between Cleveland and NY is...NY buys all of their world series by buying everyones best stars, including our own in the past minus a couple ppl such as Judge (I do have much respect to Judge)..but We in Cleveland make stars and dont always have to have the biggest power house hitters like New York, but when we do have them, its becase we made them like Ramirez, Naylor, Noel, Kwan...we made them all good. Didnt wait for another team to do so and buy em up..uggghhh yankees disgust me lol..only the team. Lol
